It does cover a wide selection of words for primary and middle school students. If you are a professional, college or higher secondary student would suggest to go for the advanced dictionary instead. The print and paper quality are good. The size is comfortable (about half an A4 sheet) and fonts are comfortable to read quickly.

This book is perfect for anyone from toddlers to older .looking for a good book for spelling.This book is great for spelling competitions and vocabulary building.If you can learn five to ten words every day, you will get amazing results from this book. I can guarantee it.

Dictionary as such is good design-wise. Has pronunciation guidelines for difficult words. Also has two colors, blue and black. The explanations of words are also very kid friendly and well written. However, many important words which are common now are missing.

We chose this dictionary for our son who is in primary school. It is easy to use for his age group and my son's vocabulary is getting strong after using the book

If you really want to groom your child from the early age, learning through dictionary is a must. When we were kids we didn't had so many variations of the dictionary. It's a wonderful version that will help your kid to slowly develop the vocabulary in true sense . Must have on your book shelf. Note: Even though I mentioned about 'kids', it's actually for all ages

Bought for my 8 year old son. He loved it. He is always interested to check for new words. He learnt to use it quickly. It’s his first dictionary!!

Better than classic dictionary, specially for kids who are going to use dictionary for the first time. Font size is decent.

As a teacher, I find this an excellent purchase for children, especially in the Year 3 - 5 range. The definitions are easy to read and are understandable for children who are developing dictionary skills. It appears to me that many classes do not use paper dictionaries, and students miss out on alphabetical sequencing skills. The shaded coding of letters also assists in finding the words being searched.
