Certified Smart Dimmer LED Wall Switch with White Faceplate Compatible with Smart Home Devices No Hub Required

Wanted a wall control for my ceiling fan with remote and LED light.Like the fact I can vary the light brightness.

This wS the same as what I looked at in a big box store and cost half as much.

This item was perfect as a replacement; even the controls were a perfect match. The only reason it may have not been easy to install was that I believe my electrical wires were backwards. After that, perfect! Love the knobs for feel more than sight.

For my home, I recently purchased a Smart Dimmer LED Wall Switch. It has some nice features, but I was disappointed with its performance in the end.First, the installation process proved to be more difficult than anticipated. The instructions are vague, and I had difficulty connecting the switch to my Wi-Fi network. It took me longer than expected to properly set it up.When I finally got it to work, I discovered that the switch was somewhat unreliable. It occasionally did not respond to commands issued via the app or the physical switch. This was particularly aggravating when I was attempting to dim the lights in my home to create a specific ambiance.I also found the app to be a little difficult to use. There are numerous features and settings, but I found them difficult to navigate and personalize. One of the primary reasons I purchased the Switch in the first place was difficulty setting up schedules and automations. That's all. This switch is convenient because it works with a variety of light bulbs, including LED, incandescent, and halogen. It also has a modern, sleek design that looks great on the wall.Although the Smart Dimmer LED Wall Switch has some excellent features, I was dissatisfied with its overall performance and dependability.It was challenging to install and use the app. Anyone looking for a smart dimmer switch should avoid this product.

I installed 2 ceiling fans in my living room and wired both up to this switch (probably not recommended). I made sure both fans together pull less amps than what the switch is rated for. the switch does a great job controlling the fans in sync. I will go over the fan switch first and the light switch after. just like other reviewers have said, the 2 lowest levels of the fan control are almost unusable for how slow they are so I labled the switch with just a High and Low setting with masking tape and we never use the lower settings. Also, 4 is low and 1 is high, that is annoying but no big deal. The switch is hard to move between the different settings and clanks through the levels. its a bit cumbersome, but my 2 year old can turn it on so I guess I cant complain too much about that. I can see a spark inside the switch going from level to level but I read that on reviews for other switches as well, so maybe all are like that. As for the light switch, I hooked it up to some dimmable LED lights and it works tremendously! they dim the lights all the way down to 0% with no flicker or buzzing. the slider is smooth and effortless and dims or brightens the lights very smoothly. overall I am satisfied with this item and it does a great job.

Out of the box, this item has a look and feel of quality. However, after installing and actually using the switch, there are some issues:Pros:It works.The wires are clearly labeled to assist installation.The design of the switch is attractive.The light switch easily slides up and down and clicks off.Cons:The fan switch is hard to move up and down. Excessive pressure is required to get the number you want, and it is easy to go past your desired setting and have to return back to it.The numbers that represent the fan speeds are not intuitive. If you want the slowest speed, you must move the switch all the way to #4, which is at the top. This is completely backwards and is not instinctive. The lowest number should be the lowest fan speed, and the highest numbers should be the fastest.

I just installed this. Here are the steps to help people out there. First follow the instruction to download the app for Android or IOS. Scan the barcode that came with the instructions. I installed it on my Android phone. Once Smartlife app is installed, connect to your Wifi. Follow the instruction that came with it. Then click on the 3 dots on the top right (see my pix. circled), go to 3rd party control, then link it to Alexa. Once linked, open your Alexa app, add the device as switch. Click Other, Alexa will see Scan and should Discover the device (Smartlife). Then just follow the screen process as how you add devices with Alexa. It should install with no problem. Once done, just edit the device name as what you wanted. You can now adjust the light as long as your bulb is dimmable. Good luck. 😀

Finally a switch that will dim LEDs. I tried the Westinghouse twice and it didn't work. I'm pretty sure all of them are made by the same company as the labels are all the same. The only complaint that I have with this one is that the fan adjustment is not smooth. I expect the detent for each speed, but it is clunky between each position.

We have a bedroom that did not come with any wiring or hardware to install a ceiling fan. This switch allowed us to keep the existing circuits and add the wiring for the ceiling fan.Pros: The unit comes complete with the cover included and the features are VERY nice. Easy to install and a was the perfect solution as we were installing a ceiling fan and didn't want to modify or tear up the wall to add a second switch.Cons: the fan speed selector side feels poorly constructed, but works fine. Also, the fan speed selector goes as follows 1 = highest speed, up to 4 = slowest speed. This seems reversed and only a minor issue.

Thought this would be easy enough to install ourselves (which it was) but no matter how we connected it, the fan and light switches are backward (the light controls the fan and vice versa) which doesn’t sound like a big deal, but the light is a smooth dimmer and the fan is a click with 3 levels. So now I can only click the light which is a real pain! Had to have someone come look at it and after taking it all apart and installing it correctly (which apparently it already was) it still works the same and his conclusion is that it’s a problem with the switch and not the wiring. Already got rid of the broken one so I can’t send this one back or I’ll be without light. Not too pleased for the price.

Easy to install, works great. The only thing I dislike is that the fan switch seems backwards. 1 (at the bottom) is the fastest setting and 4 (at the top) is the slowest.Since I just installed it, I have no ideal how durable it will be.

The switch was easy to install; the wires are clearly labeled. The fan speeds are the opposite of what you would expect. The topmost setting, 4, is low and the bottom-most setting is 1, or high. As far as the light, I experienced the same flicker and hum that others have mentioned until I realized that my fan came with non-dimmable LED bulbs. Once I replaced them with dimmable bulbs the flicker and hum went away.

I was looking for a LED dim-able light switch with a fan controller for our ceiling fan in our bedroom, and thought this would fit the bill. While it does work as advertised, quite well in fact. The fan slider is difficult to move from off to any other setting. Hopefully once it get used a bit more, it will become easier to operate.About a year later.The fan switch has gotten easier to slide, but not by much. Looking back 3 stars seems a bit harsh. Up'd my review to 4 stars. Works good, but not everything I have always wanted.

Needed to replace a fan/light switch. This was the exact brand and style. Works perfectly! Dimmer feature is fantastic and yes, the high fan speed is #1 and the slow is #4. Only takes a few times to get used to it. It's on a slider so you can go directly to the speed you want.
