I never thought twice about frothing pitchers, until my previous one (a Trudeau) had the handle just fall off. I bought this for 3 reasons. 1. the handle attaches at two places, hopefully making it more reliable. 2. it's a large size - I don't often need 20oz heated/steamed but it has come up before, so I appreciate the available volume. 3. it's graduated. Generally I need ~10oz milk and with a 12 oz and 20 oz mark (inside and out), it's much easier to get the volume I want.It is _very_ sturdy, good quality and I expect it to last a long time.

I gave this item 5 stars as it is of good quality and does the job quite well. It is a bit large for frothing milk for one but nice to have for multiply lattes and friends!

We make two lattes at a time and this container is big enough to steam enough milk for both at the same time. It's a little tall for my machine, but I've raised the machine an inch to accommodate.

If you want to brew more than 3 cups , it is good for you but not for my case.
