Decent little cutter!!
This is an excellent piece of equipment for those who want a decent set of cutters,nice flat back to the bladed edges so can be used quite near to a delicate piece but you still need care on cutting but these ARE better than the cutters I've been using,so yes I can recommend them just on that premises.

Top quality cutters
I use these side cutters for removing parts from sprues of model kits. They cut cleanly with minimal clean up even on delicate parts. Their robust construction will ensure that they will last a lot longer than some cutters that are available at four times the price.

Rubbish
I bought these because the brand is well known for model making supplies, having skipped past all the stupidly-named clearly Chinese made up brand names. I bought them to use as side cutters for photo-etched parts which I understood they were good for. After cutting a few parts from a sprue I noticed the cutting edges had notches in them and had begun to wear away, and this was literally in the first hour of use. Within another couple of hours use - and this doesn't mean hours of constant cutting - they had dulled to the point where they didn't cut anything at all, not even cotton thread. Very very disappointed with them and threw them in the bin after ordering a much better from another manufacturer and if anyone is interested they can look at my review history and find them there. I won't name them here.

The only reason for only 3 stars is because the very tip of the cuttuing edge don't meet completly so I can't use the first 1/16 of inch
