Clay Bead Neck Wrap

“What a relief it is!” That’s what my wife exclaimed the first time she tried this amazing heat wrap. We finally reached a point where our “wheat bag,” a handmade fabric sack full of buckwheat, was falling apart. Letting go of this family heirloom was challenging, so I was glad to find a more than worthy replacement to ease our chronic pain. When the Amazon box arrived, and we eagerly tore it open, we were so pleased to find a beautifully packaged, softly blue veloured treat within that matched the description perfectly, and surpassed our expectations. The outside fabric is soft, smooth, easy to care for, and nicely sewn for strength. Nice handles make it easy to hold and secure the wrap. Each end has strong, well attached Velcro to secure the heating element within, with easy access. The clay bead composition is the perfect sphere size and shape to match every curve of what ails your body. The internal pouch is sewed in segments for security and strength. Microwaving the product is easy, with just a minute doing the trick in our 900 watt MagicChef microwave oven. The heat lasts for at least 30 minutes in strength, but absorbs body heat to stay warm a long time. Great for sleeping with under your neck once it cools, too. I had questions for customer service, and they replied promptly and kindly. I’m glad to be a lifeline customer of this great company, and will be checking out what other items can make our life more sustainable and comfortable. Thank you.

I buy heating pads like most people buy socks. I buy every new one that comes on the market trying to find one that I can get warm enough like the old heating pads. The news electric ones you cannot put any weight on them or they quit warming in those spots. the rice and flax seed ones are horrible for allergies after awhile. I have even tried the one you have to keep plugged in with a computer cordon tablet charger. Those are okay for a minute or for over your eyes for a short period of time.. This one I love it. This one fits so comfortably around my neck at night when I get migraine that I can fall asleep with it not feeling like it will choke me. It stays warm long if it is against you so you are not having to constantly reheat it. I did have to learn to take the cover off it to heat it. I melted parts of my first one which is why I am buying another. I overheated it a few times The bead never melted and I eventually made a new cover around it. Just take their advice heat it 20 sec at a time to warm it I figured out how many seconds I liked it I just set it to that time. Don't Do That! or you will need to buy a new 1 too. So to avoid melting it just do it a little at a time. I also use this cold. I did not think I would like it cold but when my microwave broke and I had to wait months for the new 1 I ordered to come in I decided one night when I had a migraine with muscle spasms in my neck to wrap this around my neck. It was not frozen it was just cold. I ended up falling asleep and the pressure and coolness helped ease the spasms enough that I managed to get a few hours of sleep. I cannot say enough about how great this wrap is. I love it. I wish the whole thing was washable though that is the only negative with these heated wraps.

My mother has severe arthritis in her neck and shoulders and using heat often relieves her her discomfort. I especially liked the fact that this was a longer length and could cover more of her shoulders, neck and upper arms. The washable outer covering is a plus (A previously purchased microwaveable wrap was a light color that could only be spot cleaned.) I microwave it for 30 seconds on one side, flip it over and microwave it for an additional 30 seconds. My mother who is 94 says that it is warm, relieves her discomfort, and stays warm for a long time. It does feel a bit heavy after awhile, but by then it has cooled and she removes it from her shoulders.

Works great! I always remove the insert before microwaving. Cotton is not flammable unlike the polyester top that could easily melt. I love the weight, not too heavy and gives the shoulders a soft pressure and relxed my neck muscles. Heat is good and lasts long enough. length is perfect too. I removed the velcro and just closed one side of the sleeve. Easier to take out and put in and less stiff on the neck, but Its not necessary really. The cotton does not snag on the velcro. Worth the price for me!

While it’s hard to see the blue over my blue scrubs, it’s not hard to see how well it works. The product arrived in less than 48 hours, packaged nicely with complete instructions. This morning I left for work in 40 degree weather, I put the heated wrap over my neck and shoulders and was completely comfortable. It retains heat for an unusually long time but can be used for cold therapy as well. The exterior is super soft and the entire product is very sturdy and well made. I’ll never be without one again.

I love the fact that this neck wrap is both microwaveable and freezeable. This flexibility allowed me to use it on my knee which aches after exercise and also my lower back and neck for relaxation and tension relief. The design is ingenious in that there are littel 'handles' on it so when it is on my neck I can choose to hold on to it, applying pressure, or not as needed. The fact that it is so long is also a great feature because not only does it heat or cool my neck, but it can work on my shoulders at the same time. I also found an extra benefit; after a hard workout that was core intensive, I used it for my lower back and found that I can wrap it around my waist as well. WOW!!!! What a great relaxation effect. I highly recomment this product. The packaging is clean and the product is soft, flexible and long and does exactly what I need it to do! Thanks DR. Jeff for creating this.
