Bass Chorus Deluxe

This is one of my most used pedals on the board. Mxr makes great quality stuff and this pedal is no exception. A must if you're looking for a great chorus pedal for your bass. The effect is subtle even when the settings are extreme, but it works very well to provide a thickener to bass, and stacks well with other effects. The bonus flanger sounds good but the chorus sounds better. It won't get as "out there" as something like the bass clone, but is much less noisy and can be set with a cross-over to keep the bass super tight. One tip is to turn off the crossover if you want a more prominent chorus effect.

fantastic pedal, very lush chorus tones, you can get a cool jaco tone especially if you use it on a fretless bass, I use it for guitar to and it sounds super sick, if you crank the rate and width you can get a mac demarco tone, not exactly but it sounds like something he would do, i pair it with a fuzz pedal and it sounds pretty sweet, I would recommend this pedal to anyone, and did I mention this thing is built like a tank, I'm confident that if I dropped this thing from my roof it would still work great! have fun

I wanted this for a couple songs on a gig with friends. I came quickly which game me some time tonplay with settings beforehand. Very pleased with this. Super simple to use, put it right before the DI and seems to be the perfect spot for it. I've got a setup I like for most everything I use it, but having knows (not menus) makes it easy to adjust on the fly if I need to.

I bought this as a gift for the bassist in my band. He loves it! Works great!

Just fired up this pedal a few minutes ago. Really clean sounding not overbearing just the right amount of Chorus. My last Chorus Pedal was the Sweeper and I never could get the sound I wanted from that and the side gain knob on the Sweeper was a hindrance. The MXR BCD flanger mode is great like two pedals in one. The Bass and Treble controls are what put this over the Sweeper.The Bass and Treble allow you to really tailor your tone. If you are looking for a nice smooth Chorus that's like a nice glaze on a donut get this.

So many options with this. You can use the onboard flanger or disable it for more traditional chorus (button on the top right). There is a cross-over so the deep bass is left alone but the signal gets more affected as the notes get higher. You can control this with button on the top left. I've gotten this thing to produce a kind of "46 & 2" tone. At other times I've dialed it in to having a Sitar sound, perfect for an Egyptian scale.
