I don’t normally write reviews but I felt Like this kit deserved it. I purchased The 200 piece kit. Everything that was listed was there when I opened the box. As someone who has been making and icing cakes for around 10+ years and is now going back to school in the fall to get a degree in specialty desserts and breads; I have To say, this is a pretty nice little kit! It’s not professional grade by any means but it gets the job done if you know what you are doing. (I will Say, I did Throw away the instructions prior to even looking at them because I did not need them. I don’t know if they are useful instructions.) The biggest issue I had Was my piping bags getting little holes at the top. My solution was to scrape off the icing that escaped with the scraper and put it back in my icing bowl for further use. Less waste. This likely happened because the piping bags have little perforations so that you can easily rip off the tip of the bag once you have your piping tip screwed on. Super convenient that you don’t need scissors, but the perforations should not be at the top of the bag too. I wont Even use the silicon piping bag as a cover because it’s harder to collect wasted icing out of. It’s easier just to scrape it off and put it in the bowl for later. The turn table spins nicely, the plastic scraping tools work wonders for smoothing out the side and top of the cake, and the amount of tips you can choose for design is phenomenal. The flat and offset spatula are both very useful in filling in gaps and holes. If you are just starting off or even just need something to use at home (or in my case, preparing to ice a cake in a different country and needing moveable equipment) just get the kit. The turn table, piping tips and scrapers make it worth it. -1 star for the piping bags AND because the only other thing this kit could use is cake boards as you are not supposed to directly ice your cake on the turn table. It’s not very sanitary and you should not be fully submerging your turn table in water to wash it. Plus, cake boards make it easier to transfer your cake from the turn table to a plate. So if you are getting this kit, get some cake boards separately. You’ll thank me later. :)

The turntable is smooth, the piping bags and tips work great, and it even comes with extras like spatulas and a leveler. Honestly, it has everything you need to get started without spending a fortune.

Love it! Everything is good Quality, lots of different styles decorating Tips to choose from. I did a Sweet 16 birthday cake this past weekend and this had pretty much everything I needed to decorate the cake with. Great kit I would recommend this !

I really liked this set overall! Of course, the materials are not the highest quality you can tell they are on the cheaper side but for home use it’s more than enough. If you’re just starting out or want to try baking cakes for the first time, this set is perfect. Baking cakes can be quite challenging, and having a starter kit like this really helps you figure out if you enjoy it before investing in more expensive tools. Definitely recommend! My first cake turned out a little scary, but that’s part of the fun

As a novice, I should have done more research before buying this and watched some videos on YouTube. I bought it because it said it was specifically for beginners. The piping bags are very small and difficult to work with. You can't put them over a normal glass to fill the bag, they are too narrow and not long enough. I could only ice 4-5 cupcakes per bag. It was really messy and I had to use multiple bags to ice 36 cupcakes. The quality of the tips and everything seems fine, but the numbers of the tips don't correlate with Wilton, for instance, so you can't be sure you are using the same tip as mentioned in any expert videos. The booklet that came with it doesn't have any instructions in it, just visuals of what the icing will look like using each tip. Absolutely no information on how to use all the pieces included in the kit. Not helpful. The videos associated with the product that they offer are also not helpful. For one thing, it's like they are set on fast motion and you can't see anything. I would not recommend buying this set. You get what you pay for. Do your research. I'm now going to buy a better one and bigger piping bags.
