I really liked that book, I did. But I'm here to tell you that I LOVED Rock Me. It was fabulous. I have to admit, I wasn't prepared for this level of sexy. Yes, Unleashed had it's sexy moments, but I read it as more of a romance. And I guess the difference is, this book is about a different Ross sibling, the oh so sexy Brian. Brian is the outsider in his affluent, cookie cutter family. He's always been known as the troublemaker. He didn't go the same route as his brother and sister, a lawyer and a doctor. Brian is a tattoo artist, even owns his own business. He's heavily tattooed, duh, and also heavily pierced. And he doesn't only have the average facial piercings, oh no. Brian has a piercing, nicknamed the "apa", that had me running to Google to check it out. Fair warning: you're going to see major peen if you look it up. If your husband is looking over your shoulder, he may whimper and hold his crotch. You may get a little queasy thinking about the pain involved. But then...the purpose behind the piercing comes into play and you will be looking at the apa in a whole new light. Just don't expect your man to accommodate. Ouch. Where was I? Oh yeah, Brian, he's like sex on a stick. I love reading about guys like him. Sexy, misunderstood, really good guys who only seem bad are what do it for me. And Brian can work it. *daydreams* I did like Candace, too. She's the good girl who always had a major crush on Brian, even when he dated her cousin. (Can we say awk-ward) But when Candace is ready to embrace her inner vixen, she goes all out. I admire her bravery, particularly in the face of the almighty apa. She did get on my nerves a bit, especially when she wrings her hands over her asshat family, and the fact that she wants to be independent first. I'm all for sisters taking care of their business, but when you have a great guy that loves you and will support you in whatever you do with your life, GRAB ONTO HIM AND NEVER LET HIM GO. I have been on a mission for a fantastic sexy read to hold me over until Double Time (Sinners on Tour #3) releases in November. What I've found has been pretty good, but felt a bit lacking to me. Rock Me definitely filled that void. The plot was strong, I really liked the characters (especially Brian), and the sexy gave me hot flashes and giving my husband the side eye. You can not ask for more than that! Review: Alpha male, hot scenes, great story! - This was my second Cherrie Lynn book, and I have to say I enjoyed it more than the first. Candace is a sheltered, parentally-dominated, straight-A student that has had a crush on her cousin's former boyfriend for several years. Brian is the "black sheep" of his family, because he dances to a different beat, owns his own tattoo shop, and is covered in tattoos. As a woman who is married to a man with tattoos, I know that the tats don't make the man. However, in my opinion, they are pretty hot (especially if you can cover them up and blend in when necessary). So, the idea of the tat-covered man wasn't so foreign or different to me. Brian, however, has a few more things than just tattoos, including immediately visible, and non-immediately visible tattoos (if you know what I mean...). Even with my mild prejudices towards private-piercings, the author did a great job in explaining them, and even had me curious as to just how much they benefit/pleasure a woman....:) The characters are well-written, complex, and the chemistry between them is amazing. I normally enjoy non-erotic romance, where its left to your imagination all the juicy details of the act. If you ONLY like that type of story, however, this is NOT your book. The sex is hot, Brian is very graphic in what he wants and how he wants it. While its graphic, however, I didn't feel trashy after reading it, rather, I felt like I wanted my husband to hurry up and get home! :) But, I had a couple of concerns about this novel, as good as it was. First, the fact that Brian's ex-girlfriend is not a distant, but close cousin of Candace's was unsettling. Her reconciliation of this issue (as well as the cousin's reaction when she found out) was quite quick, and seemed unrealistic. I'm not the biggest fan of taking family members' leftovers, but to each his own. I just felt it takes away a little something from the book. Additionally, did anyone else feel that Brian/Candace's relationship was just starting to get good when the book was over? They alluded to the fact that they would get married and have babies one day, but as your typical die-heart romantic, I like things to be neatly wrapped in a bow at the end of a book. I still feel like there is more to Candace and Brian's story. Perhaps Ms. Cherrie Lynn will tee their story back up in a future book.....I sure hope so.... Great read - enjoy!

Rock Me
This is my first time reading any works by Cherrie Lynn and I must say... I LOVED IT! She created some amazingly realistic characters and the main character (Brian) is one hot piece of art! The love, emotion and thrill Cherrie set out there for us readers is a true treat! Candace wants her own life. She is fed up with making everyone (but herself) happy. She does everything right in accordance to her family's expectations. But it's time she does something for herself. She's taking the leap to do two things she's wanted for some time. Get a tat and approach the man who has stolen her heart without his being aware. The last person Brian expected to walk through his shop door is Candace. But he is thrilled to see her. He has always been attracted to her and appreciated her person. So real, beautiful and loving. He fights his thoughts and feelings a bit as he tries to decide where these mushy thoughts are coming from. But soon realizes they come directly from his very own heart and soul. Judgmental, controlling, domineering family is trying to keep Brian and Candace apart. They do not want Brian to be in Candace's life. But Candace is not hearing it. It's now time to put her foot down and take control of her life. With the strong support of Brian through many bumps in their road. She stands tall and hopes all will work out for them in the long run. Long nights of passion and verbal emotional exchanges show how well they are together. Now we just need to see what fate has in store for them. This will not be my last time reading from Cherrie Lynn. Her writing have an addictive quality to it that deserves much further investigation :) Besides, she created one of the most delightful male specimen out there named Brian Ross (yum!)

5 Sterne!

Wow, what a hot book!! I wish I could give this book more than 5 stars. A sexy tattooed guy with an interesting piercing, plenty hot sex, what's not to like?? Just like the first book Unleashed, Rock Me had me gripped from the first page to the very last!! I will definitely be recommending this to my friends.

I was reading Unleashed and I really enjoyed it, but I found some of the names familiar and wondered why. Now I know. The first time I rated this book, I gave it 3 stars. The writing was good but the punk rock, piercings and tattoos were not really my thing. However after rereading it after I enjoyed Unleashed so much, I had the stick removed from, well you know where, and I really really liked it. Both main characters were well written, had depth and were likeable. I learned so much more the second time around. This author writes smoothly and introduces secondary characters that enhance the story without dragging it down unnecessarily. Brian and Candace's story was a great read and I'm very interested in buying more of the series as well as some of her other works.

I read this book because that guy has a lot of piercings. I love men with ink too. This story is about how a girl who lives under restrictions tries to rebel and find love in the process of becoming more independent. Oh I liked Brian's nephew. Evan is such a good brother.

Attention, c'est dans la veine de Roméo et Juliette ou West side Story. Avec bad boy qui séduit la petite fille sage. Très sexy et très chaud!
