Yes, the MiniMag fits on a standard drill with a hex-shaft. As long as the RPM speed is between 1200 and 1500 RPM the MiniMag will work fine with the MX2 fasteners. Most drills offer an RPM speed in that range. However, sometimes, if the battery is not fully charged, the RPM speed might drop blow the required value. Just recharge the battery to get it back to full speed.
