OkinRefined-R Model JLDQ-11 & JLDQ-1A JLDQ 11.156.333K Motor Actuator for Recliner Lift Chair

Had a chair that had stopped working for years. I never even bothered to look on how to fix it but a quick YouTube video showed this one part could get the chair back functioning. Easy to remove and install and the chair works like a charm. Couldn't be happier with it.

Recommend; it worked on my Rooms to Go sectional. I replaced a 7-year-old motor along with a new switch ($12 Okin switch also on Amazon), and the recline function began to work immediately. I am satisfied and happy I was able to fix myself.

one side of our Costco leather double recliner was not working. It is in good shape, the leather still good but one side didn't recline or lift. Was going to buy a new recliner, but son fixed this in 20 minutes. Chair was heavy to lift but installation was easy. got tips on a youtube video.

I had an older Okin motor (model # JLDQ.6.156.333J) for a power recliner that had stopped working. With very minimal adjustment, this new replacement motor worked perfectly for me! And it's even a little quieter than the older one it replaced! It's a definite DIY project for someone with even a minimal amount of skill, saving hundreds of dollars on additional labor costs. (There are plenty of YouTube videos that can help to show how to do this). Overall, this is a highly recommended replacement if you are having the same issue!

Don’t expect styrofoam as if it’s a new product. It comes shoved in a box by itself. New? No idea but so hard to find I kept and they do work. For how long will be the real answer if they were used or not. Certainly not packed as if from a brand new.

This was a replacement for a recliner motor assembly which failed. The original would recline, but would not un-recline. Usually this symptom is due to a faulty switch, but not in my case. Replacing the motor assembly fixed the problem. If you're handy, you can replace this yourself; it's only 8 screws and 2 cables to deal with.

I replaced two motors last winter, but one of them just stopped working this summer. It sparked and the power supply went off.

This unit is sized like the original. Wiring is a bit different to accommodate multiple applications and has more wires/plugs than my original. However, the instructions mention this and to use the wire/plug that matches your application. about 15 minutes to flip my recliner sofa over for access underneath, swapping out the unit and a couple plastic zip ties to secure the longer extra and longer wiring out of the way of the recliner mechanism and my chair was back working good as new.
