Vornado 460 Small Whole Room Air Circulator Fan, White

The fan came to me after 2 weeks of placing an order.The product page does not tell you, that this product needs a step-down converter and only after you have purchased it will a mail arrive asking you to buy one separtely.Coming to the performance.Most people like me, are not well versed with the decibel output.When it says that the product is only 50 Db loud, one assumes a silent function. That's where we ho wrong.The fan is quite noisy in the background on the lowest setup.The only plus point is the air throw.I am not very happy with the fan, because my primary concern was " sound".A big throw fan alone comes at 1/3rd its prize.I won't buy another one.

Es pequeño, un tamaño perfecto para ubicar en cualquier lugar. Aún en la velocidad menor, el flujo de aire es fuerte. El ruido es mayor al aumentar el nivel, sin embargo, en el nivel inferior el ruido es bastante bajo. Me ha funcionado perfecto para circular el aire.

the plug is american and would need a transformer if it were to actually be used in the UK, which is a little annoying considering the price. Im sure it is amazing but i couldn't even use it without spending more money on a transformer!

Great little fan, moves a lot of air. Perfect for our little apartment with windows that don't fully open. Three speeds - low is super quiet and good to keep the air fresh, the middle is unobtrusive white noise and noticeably cools the room, and high is a bit of noise but super powerful for the size. Pretty good aesthetics for a plastic fan too, the shiny/matte plastic, chrome bar, and shape of the base are nice. Doesn't oscillate, it's intended to direct a column of air that bounces off walls and surfaces.

I took the fan out of the box, plugged it in and it didn't work at all. I purchased it on the UK Amazon and did not realize that it was coming from the US...it is possible that it didn't work because of the voltage differences HOWEVER if this is true then it should not be being sold on a UK website (I don't recall anything in the product description saying it was a US product). Now, I am unable to return it unless I Have customs paperwork but amazon has not provided it to me. Really terrible customer experience.

Comes with US plug and not dual voltage so a step-down transform would be required. No idea why they send to Europe /U.K. when the item is not suitable.Also had an issue returning the product as drop off point initially would not accept as required “3 invoices”. Not according to the Amazon return instructions it doesn’t. Which I followed precisely.
