Tempered Glass Cutting Board, Extremely Durable, Long-Standing, Clear Glass, Scratch Resistant, Heat Resistant, Shatterproof, Extra Large 17X13

I needed an odd size to go between my stove and refrigerator to cover a gap, so I got two of these and put them side to side and it works perfectly. I like having the tempered glass cutting board there so if I have to grab something off the stove, I have a safe place to set a hot pan without ruining my countertop. I like the clear because I can see the color of the countertop through it OR put a picture or reminder under the board. I use it more for protection than a cutting board because I have a slightly smaller cutting board that I use closer to the sink.

Bought two and have them side by side as I cut a lot of veggies. They are sturdy and fit easily in the dishwasher. They are not perfectly smooth, however thy are smoother than other glass cutting boards I have had.Note they are glass so you can break them if rough with them; though they are plenty sturdy. As long as you don't stack a bunch of weight on them or drop something on them you should be fine!

I purchased this to replace an old Corning Counter Saver that did not match my kitchen anymore. This is a perfect size. I keep it next to my stove and put hot items on it. I have had no problems with this. It is not totally clear nor is it frosted. It looks very nice on my counter and does not clash with any décor.

I got this cutting board to be able to read my cooking recipes while I cut and chop stuff, without soiling them with spills and bits of food.That board is really nice, *but* it is not fully transparent. The upper side has a pattern (imagine like wood veins on the surface) which makes it really hard to read the recipe. This might work if you have really good eyes, but not for me. It's also probably fine if you want to use that above pictures (the pictures will be visible). Text ... Less so, in my case!I'm still rating 4 stars because it makes a very nice presentation board, e.g. for cheese or meat (as long as the meat is not too juicy).

Excellent quality. Very happy with this product. I use it to apply vinyl to the backside to make personalized cutting boards. The backside is as smooth as can be, and the top is a bit rougher.How it works as an actual cutting board, I do not know, as I believe glass tends to dull knives and use wooden cutting boards. But this makes a great decorative feature for the kitchen.

I bought this to have a flat surface for sharpening tools with sandpaper. The item that came has a cheap texture on one side and is flat on the bottom. Because of the texture, it only semi-translucent. IT IS NOT FLAT AND CLEAR AS SHOWN IN THE PICTURE. The flat bottom side is also only marginally flat. When placed against a straight edge, there is variation in the surface.It will probably serve for my purposes reasonably well, but be warned about the inaccurate advertisement of this product.

I bought this one for my son who has just moved into his own place. I already had one and use it daily to cook. It is awesome, heavy duty, I stick it in the dishwasher. I store it vertically in my cabinet so when I need it I have it close by. I won't use any other type of cutting board.

It's impossible to tell from the tiny product image, but the glass is mostly transparent, kind of grayish in hue. The rubber feet are stuck on the *smooth* side, so the bumpy side on the reverse is intended to be the cutting surface. However you could easily flip it over and use the smooth side on top because the rubber bumpers are just the standard hardware store kind, easy to peel off and replace.
