Purchased over 2 months ago and they’re still in great condition. No malfunction, bulbs do not feel hot even after hours of having lights on. I like how you can dim the lights if they’re too bright and I LOVE the different flickering styles and patterns you can use on the remote, great buy for what it’s worth. Below I have photos (both without flash and taken at night) one with the bedroom lights on and one with the bedroom lights off.

Bought these for my teenage daughters room. They are well made & bright. We swagged them back,and forth on her ceiling to give her the popular twinkle light look. She loves that there are remote controls that allow her to adjust the many lighting patterns as well as off and on. Each strand seems to be independent of each other as far as the remotes. If you lose the remote, each strand has a manual control switch to change lighting patterns. These do not require batteries and have a long lead wire from the outlet which is great so she doesn't have lights going up her wall from the plug. Very happy with this purchase and compared to any retailer we have looked at, this company offers 33ft strands for the best price hands down.

I got the warm white lights, and I am very satisfied with the product. I use them as an ambient light source in my college dorm and they provide a wonderfully chill atmosphere, it really helps me relax and unwind. The lights plug into an outlet, but do not daisy chain so you will need 1 outlet per set of lights. I've kept them on for a majority of my time owning them so far (almost 2 months now), and they are still going strong. If you are looking to add a little ambiance to your room, these are really perfect.

Perfect for my bedroom. Unboxing was easy and it shipped to me in a fair amount of time. It has a few feet of extra plain cord so you can have it look like the lights are separate from the plug in area...if that makes sense. Some lights start by the plug in and it makes it look uneven. These ones don't. The different ways you can have the lights is pretty cool too. They blink or fade. You can choose what you like with a button and everytime you push it, it changes to a different type of blink or fade. The only thing I noticed was there was a lot of leftover hot glue on the lights. I just pulled it all off and it was fine. I love the glow they give. Not too bright and not too dark. I just plug them in at night and fall asleep. There is no timer or remote but it doesn't bother me. I just unplug them in the morning or if I wake up in the middle of the night. Happy with these and may buy another strand!

I bought these to make my own marquee lights and they were perfect for the job. I compared them to some larger glass string lights at target which immediately put off sooo much heat I knew they could never be used for my project. I liked the look of the clear bulb that other lights have but these are a white bulb which give off a warm glow. For my project they were perfect, and I saved money! I would have needed to buy several sets of other lights compared to these which were quite long and had many bulbs. I used the whole strand for 8 large letters and still had a lot left over.

These were a lot longer than I expected, which was great actually. For the price, they are really good. The bulbs are very small. The lighting is dimmer than I thought which is why I'm giving 4 stars. The great thing is that even though I have two separate strands the two work with the same remote, which is really cool! Both came with remotes and they both work with the either one. So the remote code is universal! It has some basic light movement like slow blinking, fast blinking, and fading. The also just survived a huge rainstorm without getting torn down or going bad. I'm very pleased with them and will probably buy more of them.

I was distressed to discover after one of the strings broke while I was opening it that they are sold by a Chinese company. I try to avoid buying from Chinese companies because of quality problems. Anyway, when I called Customer Service at "Brightown" my call was dropped three times and finally answered on the fourth try. The person I spoke to was very strange. He hardly spoke and we had such a bad connection that I couldn't understand much of what he was saying. Frankly, he seemed retarded. I think he finally told me that I would be getting a replacement string, but I'm not sure.

This is the third set of these particular strands we have owned and they are in the elements. Seem to last about year or so. That's not a knock for the money they do a good job. I will say the last set we out up has been working through loads of rain, snow, and freezing rain. Still going happy with them will continue to buy. As I have tried several other styles and they just don't last very long outdoors no matter the promises made. Plus you have a built timing function as well as 8 or so different patterns to choose from.

Probably one of my favourite Amazon purchases. These lights are great quality so far. The remote works and can change up to 8 different settings. The soft white light is just what I wanted. More of a mellow yellow tint than that harsh bright white. The string is really long, and the covers on the lights are a strong plastic. I'm super happy with these and would purchase other items from this company. Wedding anyone?? These would be great!

Creates a patio like ambience on the balcony at night. Equipped with 8 different settings from still lighting, to flickering and more. The warm white gives a nice subtle relaxing feel. The extra wire is ample for reaching an outlet without having lights randomly hanging. I used the timer setting a couple times and now they automatically turn on in the evening for 6 hours. I just wish you can set a different time frame other than 6 hours.

These lights are so beautiful!I absolutely love how I can change the lights from dim to high. There are 3 different settings, somewhat bright, middle and low. They are super long! The remote is a great thing to have, because I can change the lights from blinking to solid, there are about 8 different light patterns. I am honestly thinking of buying 3 more. One for my room and maybe even for my children's rooms. They would be great for kids who are afraid of light.

I ordered these to put on our fence in our backyard as planned a dance party for my birthday. My hubby and I strung them today and we both love them. Sitting in our yard watching them twinkle. Draped on fence and our stair railing. My hubby loves them so much I just ordered 2 more sets for a few more places in the yard. Very happy with them. Can use the same remote for the sets.

We purchased and installed these lights late last summer outside on our deck railing. They were really pretty when they worked. But when I tried turning them on this spring, they stopped working. I'm not sure if the winter was too cold for them or we received defective lights. There is no way for me to contact the seller to request a refund or replacement. Will not purchase again.
