I was amazed when i opened up this beauty!
As soon as I got the box from UPS I was pretty shocked I did not expect this collection to be so big. This thing looks worth more than 99 dollars to be honest they way it was packaged and everything. Looks so beautiful. If your thinking about purchasing this collection, I fully recommend you to you'll love this collector just as much as I do. I knew I should of bought two of these one to use and one to store and keep fresh new.Onto the the gameplay: I have to say this seems pretty fun for a game Bethesda didn't work on still has that ES feeling we all know and love but with newer things brought to this cool game we never did before in previous elder scrolls games. I really wish everyone would just give in and play this game. It's a new experience that every elder scrolls fan should check out, I guarantee that you'll love it as much as skyrim and all previous ES games.I'm going to be honest, I didn't look at a lot of the trailers they were posting threw out the year before this baby released....idk I just wanted to wait till it released and just see for myself. It's a great game if I had to rate it from what I've already played, I'd rate it 7/10 for now Since they will be adding new updates here and there. You won't regret it this game is worth it! So happy they changed it to no monthly payments. I was going to skip this game because of that so thank you! Who ever made the decision to let us all experience this awesome game!

I LOVE this game
I LOVE this game. I have played every Elder Scrolls game in the series. This however is NOT made by Bethesda as many believe , but it's made by Zenimax Online. All that aside , it's a fun enjoyable game. It has the spirit of the old Elder Scrolls games. It visits many of the locations from previous titles. There is a great crafting element. Many people say it's not as good as Skyrim. We'll , how can it be. Different developer , different team. Anyways Skyrim is NOT the best in the series , but Morrowind is. It's not always about graphics. Story and gamplay are much more important to me. This particular collection is beautifully put together with the items that you get in this collectors edition. I love having an Imperial horse with my High Elf Sorceress and Panther Senche Tiger pet. The map of the entire Tamriel world is very nice. Molag Bal statue is plastic but looks great. The art book is very nice also. I'm having a fun time with this game. What's more is you can now play for free , but I still choose to pay the monthly fee just to support my favorite franchise. Locations in the game are varied and beautiful , much nicer then the cartoon like World of Warcraft. That's like flogging a dead horse ; over it. I would definately recommend this game. You can pick up the regular Non-collectors edition pretty cheap if you're not sure. If you've played the entire Elder Scrolls series like me , you will enjoy this game. Brings back a lot of memories of the older titles realms.

Technical issues mar an otherwise enjoyable game.
First I will start off saying I had extremely limited experience with any Elder Scrolls titles before playing this game. I bought Oblivion and Skyrim on the PS3 but played both titles less than 5 hours each, so no emotional connections were made nor expectations of any kind created. They just didn't click with me at the time (they may or may not now) and I ended up trading them. In fact, I was hesitant to get this game due to those experiences. But I recently played another MMO on the PS4 which has a monthly subscription and enjoyed it immensely. I thought I'd be OK with the monthly subscription, but the more I thought about it the more I didn't like the idea. Then I looked into ESO and found out it went buy to play. I began considering it and was really interested in the Imperial Edition, but it was sold out. Then there were more available here the day after release, and I decided to buy.As far as the physical contents, they are top notch. The steelbook case is nice, although mine has a small dent on the back. The book is unique with its leather like cover and binding on the outside spine. It's basically just an art book, but it actually has lots of text written as if someone from the world of Tamriel wrote it. I like the statue as well. It is quite tall and well painted. It is modeled from a statue depicted in game too -- it was a nice surprise when I came across it while playing last night. As far as game play goes the quests are many -- the main solo quest seems pretty short, but you only get to advance it every five levels when you level up. At least that's what it's been so far. I'm only at level 24 but did main story quests at the beginning of the game then at levels 5, 10, 15 and 20. I was a bit slow off the gate because it took me a while to figure out an approach to playing, though once I realized you just go out and explore and pick up quests from the NPCs in the environment I was off adventuring many hours into the night. The crafting also seems interesting to me, and I'm working on becoming an alchemist, maybe a blacksmith too. As far as the graphics go, they look good to me. A little less on the realistic style, but that's ok.However, all this praise aside there are many technical issues that mar this game and take you out of the experience. The sound in the starting menus can be staticky. Like many others, I have had trouble logging in but only once a few days after I got it. And then it only lasted 10 minutes. After that I can't recall having that issue. I have also been booted during play. A minor annoyance, and I've always been able to get right back in, but worse when you're in the middle of a quest and when you come back you realize your progress wasn't saved and you have to start the quest over. That's happened twice. Then there are times when you go into a new area after it is loaded and all the other players are just black outlines for a few seconds. That is a strange one because it's just the player characters. They can be on their mount and the mount will be there but all you will see of the player character is their black outline. I'd say the worst technical issue for me is the lag in the heavily populated areas -- something that really takes me out of the game when all I want to do is explore and adventure in Tamriel.Overall I'm enjoying the game and am glad I got it. Technical issues aside, I will be playing it regularly for a long time to come.P.S. I also got the Exlporer's Pack, which was a pre-order bonus, even though I purchased this after release. I don't know how that happened, but it was a nice surprise. I'm especially enjoying finding all the treasure from the treasure maps included.

Great game, bad seller!
The game itself is excellent and should not reflect upon his review but the seller who sold me a NEW copy which I paid extra for did a great job lying. Inside the secured box (which showed very little damage) it appeared that it was torn apart by a 3 year old and then put back together in hopes no one would notice. The steel game case damaged, the statue of Molag Bal damaged, the collectors art book shows signs that it was read before, the only thing that seemed new and untouched was the map and DLC codes. I intentionally waited to write this review because of how angry I was at discovering that I was hoodwinked but apparently time does not heal all wounds. Note to seller, if it's been opened, even though never played, it's no longer NEW!
