Works great, easy to assemble and use. Held bikes nice and secure. I added a tie down strap from the bed of my truck just to reduce a bit of the swaying which helps a lot.

Excellent product. Easy to read instructions, assembled within 25 minutes and installed on my truck. 2 different style bikes fit perfectly after making adjustment of tire length and height hook. I also strapped both bikes together for extra piece of mind.

This bike rack works exactly as expected. I am very impressed by the Maxxhaul customer service. I needed to order a few additional parts so that I could use the bike rack on my camper. Maxxhaul customer service responded very quickly to every email message and had the parts I needed to me in just a few days. I will definitely shop Maxxhaul the next time I need any product they make.

The rack does indeed hold two bikes on a car with a 2" receiver, and it does an OK enough job of it, especially for the very low price. It's easy to adjust and will hold low-frame bikes, though I had to get creative to fit a low-frame bike and a 20" kid's bike at the same time. Two adult bikes would've been no problem.This rack did hold two bikes on a 1000+ mile road trip with no problem, so it's hard to complain after paying so little for it, but the design sacrifices some stability for ease of shipping and disassembly. It's easy to secure bikes to the rack, but because the rack is held together with hitch pins, the whole thing can rotate quite a bit thanks to the play in each of the joints. The bikes won't come off the car, but it's a bit disconcerting to see handlebars moving up and down on bumpy roads. After one road trip, the pins had already started to turn one of the holes in the drawbar into an oval, so I question the longevity of this rack.This rack let me buy a couple bikes I found while on a road trip and get them home, but for routine bike hauling I'd get something better.

Seems sturdy, very easy to assemble, no complaints

I decided to get this style to replace my old rack which had arms the bike would hang from. Load the front wheel first so it doesn’t flop around. Also spray the upright pole with WD40 so you can slide the frame brace up and down since it is tight. I don’t recall any tools being needed for assembly. I don’t thing the instructions were very good but pictures help. Taking the wheel rests off makes carrying the rack lighter and keeping them inside the car might prevent theft since it’s useless without them! It does wobble some but I haven’t added the stabilizer that comes with it. Tightening the bolt next to the front reflector helps stop the wobble. Aluminum would be lighter but it is a good quality for the price.
