Hape Wooden Dump Truck| Pretend Play Construction Vehicle Toys for Toddlers

I bought this dump truck for my grandson, for his 4th birthday. But prior to purchasing the truck, I found a crane set, by the same company, that will make playing with the dump truck even more fun!!!The construction of Hape's products are amazing, and I see this truck along with the crane set becoming heirloom toys for passing on to futurefamily members!!!BUY IT!

The media could not be loaded. We really like this toy dump truck! Most of it is wood, there is very little plastic. It’s a sturdy piece and has endured my son dropping it every day, lol. It’s practical, compact, easy to clean & rolls well.

Bought this for my son who is obsessed with anything cars. He loves how big it is and it can fit all his little cars on it. It’s a cute toy. I love wooden toys for my kids and this one was such a hit!

It is all wood except for the dumper, which is plastic and I love that about it. My 3 year old loves this, but so do my older children and even my 1 year old. Great buy!

My munchkin loves this truck! A present for his first Birthday! :)Love wooden toys and Hape brand has been great!The truck is very well made- there is a bit of paint mishap (one of the wheels is slightly faded and there is a bit of a rub off on a top of the cabin) but not a deal breaker! We love it and want more toys like this on the market! No lights or bells and whistles - just good quality to last for literally ever! :)

If you want your kids to Emmett’s themselves in play, they need quality toys that won’t send them running back to mommy to fix parts! We’ve had this dump truck for 5 months now and it still looks as good as new (and holds up well against our 2 year old son).

This dump truck was great except for one thing that ultimately led to its untimely demise. I’m giving it four stars because for the limited time my son had it he loved it. About two weeks after he got it my son took the truck into the yard to collect rocks and sticks . During this half hour excursion the truck “accidentally” drove into a puddle. This is why I now discourage the children from letting the critters operate heavy machinery. I rinsed the dump truck off and set it near a window to dry and I thought it had, but two days later the front of the cab sprouted mold. With it being mostly wood and having a child with asthma I threw the truck away because we just don’t deal with mold. I’ll most likely buy another one for inside play only. It’s a really nice truck and the kids loved it, I just would avoid getting it wet.

My little boy is just obsessed with trucks. (if yours is too, and you haven't already found the HOUR long youtube video compilation of trash trucks... well, its basically toddler boy crack). Anyway - this truck is perfect for him. He throws it around and its so sturdy. Clearly very well made. He love giving his stuffed animals rides around the living room in the truck. If they had a trash truck version, I would be ALL OVER IT!
