ALTRA Unisex Trail Gaiter

I purchased the trail gaiters to use on my trail race to keep small pebbles out of my shoes. For the race I used Brooks Cascadia running shoes which do have the velcro on the back to hold them in place. Overall I was very pleased, nothing in my shoes and I didn't even notice them while running. I will be keeping them around for hiking in the spring and will report back if I experience any issues.

Bought these for my son to wear on our 20 mile hike. He loved them and had no problems with rocks or debris in his Altras. He was very happy to have them.

I was concerned that the patch of velcro wasn't going to stick on my Hoka boots but so far they are holding up great. The gaiters keep the grass/weeds/dirt out of the boots and that's all I could ask for. The nice thing is that I'm not having my pants legs coming out like some other gaitors I've tried.The only negative is that you have to put them on before your boots but that's not a show stopper for my uses.

Got sick of getting small rocks in my shoes running on gravel. These guys are easy to get on and use. Most importantly they keep the rocks out and they stay on. They fit well on my Hoka running shoes.

bought size large with 10.5 mens lone peaks. fit like a large trash bag.

These need a cinch strap, elastic, or velcro. The narrow top portion is very small and does not fit over my heel when barefoot. It seems like an OK product and should keep dust or rocks out but also the material is very thin. There is nothing to keep the gaiter up and I expect the flimsy material will just sag, but then I was not able to try them since they will not fit on my feet.
