Unfortunately the models description of the parts of the brain were primarily in Chinese with US English translation, this was really not acceptable to my patients.

I’m a family therapist who works with children, adolescents and some adults. I needed a simple brain model to teach clients about the basics of neuroscience, and this model is just fine for those purposes. Many parts are labeled, but it is lacking in detail in the areas I especially needed, particularly in the midbrain area and limbic system. However, that doesn’t prevent me from being able to use it as a teaching tool with clients. If you’re looking for a model for a college level medical class, this isn’t it. If you need a model for teaching the basics of neuroscience to lay people and you already know your stuff (like where the amygdala is located) it’s a great substitute for the $100+ models. My young clients have really enjoyed it so far.

The box is generic and they slapped a shipping sticker on it and mailed it out. Thanks a lot. I opened the box and it is more Chinese than English. Unless you can read Chinese characters, give this a pass.
