Sounds OK for a very very very inexpensive device. The issue I have with it is the knobs are very sensitive. No resistance so they move when you hit the switch. Strange but the gain knob changes the volume. I have to keep resetting the knobs. Plus the volume is very loud at the bottom of the pot. As soon as you turn it up it gets loud very fast.. No really low volume setting. I also think that if as advertised if your amp goes down you can go direct into the PA, should have a balanced 600 ohm output, not the 1/4 inch High Z one... So you have to go from this into a DI to get into a PA....

it is great for what i use it for - that is dropping at the end of a chain to color the tone properly for distortion/overdrive the gain on it's own sounds good too- I would give it 5 stars if it was a little cleaner - you can't really bump the level w/o getting a little grit - which has pluses and minuses but overall worth the purchase

I never review items but I have to with this pedal. I've played guitar for 14 years and this is the best distortion/overdrive pedal I've ever used. It sounds big and clean, like an amp head would sound. If you're sceptical, don't be... Its got a wide range of sounds from blues, clean overdrive, rock, to metal. I play different styles of music and I can simply turn a knob to change what I'm wanting to do. I wouldn't call this cheap, but very inexpensive for what you get. Well worth the money!

Great range of drive and tone control! I now use it in place of my equalizer. same control, but easier to set.I use it with a solid stae amp and it sounds awesome!

Je l'ai achetée pour si jamais j'avais une panne du Helix, en concert. Il fallait quelque-chose de petit et facile à transporter et que je puisse brancher directement dans une table de mixage. La pédale fonctionne bien en direct. Les différents contrôles semblent bien marcher, peut-être qu'il manque quand même un peu d'aigus (mais à vérifier en jouant plus fort). En revanche il y a vraiment trop de gain. Même avec le gain à zéro je suis obligé de bien baisser le son de mes guitares pour avoir un son vraiment clair (oui même sur la strat). C'est dommage.

I knew this pedal wasn't going to be built to last or gig worthy for the price, but since I was only going to use it at home I wasn't too worried. It arrived and worked fine, it did what I needed and sounded great! Then it cut out. Checked my connections and it still wouldn't work. Left it over night and it worked again for about 15 minutes before cutting out again, so now I am returning it. Honestly it sounded great, but if it's going to be that unreliable it's no good to me. If they fixed the reliability issues I'd happily have paid twice the price, and now I'm in two minds whether to order another in case I just had a duff one or to look for a better alternative. Shame!

Ich habe ihn zwar Dank des Kuriers einen Tag später als veranschlagt erhalten, aber besser spät als gar nicht. Für Aufnahmen war es bei mir der Grund das Teil zu kaufen, weil er einen Amp mit Cab simuliert und das macht er echt gut. Man kann von leichtem Overdrive bis hin zum ordentlichen Brett alles fahren. Er geht auch gut als Clean-Boost wenn man den Gain komplett zurückschraubt. Bass-Reserven hat das Teil auch ordentlich. Der Höhen Regler hätte für mein Empfinden noch etwas weiter reichen dürfen, aber das ist wirklich Meckern auf "hohem" Niveau. ;-) Ok, man kann jetzt nicht zwischen den GROßEN Verstärker Eckpfeilern auswählen (British, American, California), wenn Ihr wisst, was ich meine. Aber für den Preis kann man jetzt auch nicht alles erwarten. Ich werde ihn demnächst im Proberaum auch mal an meinem Verstärker testen. Das Gehäuse ist massiv. Standard 9V Netzteil oder Batteriebetrieb möglich (beides nicht dabei).

Marque chinois peu connue, cette pédale d'effet est surprenante de réalisme branchée sur un ampli. Le son est saturé et chaud et donne des résultats bien meilleurs que pas de grandes marques connues (Boss, Digitech). Le prix est attractif.... bref une bonne surprise. Mais attention, la qualité des composants n'est pas toujours au rendez-vous. Bizarrement la pédale ne supporte pas les sons les plus graves (corde de mi) et génère des parasites désagréables. J'ai demandé son remplacement, on verra si j'étais tombé sur un mauvais exemplaire.....
