Do not buy a hoverboard from GeekMe!We purchased one last Christmas for my son. Even when new the battery life was poor (far less than advertised by GeekMe) and by the time the summer came and my son was able to use it outside the hoverboard only lasted a short while (no more than 10mins) on a full charge. He has not taken it out of the garden as he has been too afraid of it running out of steam and having to walk home. This product did not live up to expectations based on the product description.Unfortunately the GeekMe customer care team have not been able to resolve this – at best they have asked me to return the item to their factory in Germany so they can have a look at it (we are based in the UK, they won’t accept a package wrapped in binbags and I don’t have lots of large boxes lying around). I am thoroughly disappointed that they have been able to replace the hoverboard or change the battery, nor will they consider a refund. The 1 year guarantee against mechanical defect is a joke. I am unable to contact them by phone and the ‘automated’ responses that I receive by email make me doubt I am even speaking to a real person. Incredibly disappointing.Meanwhile my son has been without a hoverboard, which is pretty cruel during the lockdowns of 2020. Amazon customer service have also been unhelpful as this is a 3rd party seller – a lesson for me not to buy from marketplace sellers. I hope Amazon take this seller off their site as otherwise there will be lots more disappointed customers in the New Year. You have been warned!

Do not buy these boards, we bought two at Christmas, they broke a week later and Geek me have done nothing to repair or replace them weeks later

Bought this as a Christmas present for my son when he opened it there was no charger resulting in one very disappointed child 😡😡😡

Great Xmas present for 8 year old. Quiet heavy and big but very fast and great power to go over grass. Great customer service. Had a problem with 1st one and was replaced straight away. Straps a bit week but got mini ratchet straps online.

Excellent hover board and kart, great detail in design too. Only downside is that straps don't keep kart in place at times, which means one side stops working but easily adjusted again. Seems to have good battery life too

I bought two hover boards for my girls. They were delivered very quickly. They came well packaged and the girls love them. Great customer support. They went out of their way to help me when I needed a UK power cable. Very impressed and would recommend.
