Forget the budget, its one of the best gaming mouse
I am not a budget gamer, I am an old dude who have been gaming since last 2 decades with costly hardware. I have used almost all gaming mouses from brands like Logitech, Steel-series and Razer (and a few more). In the past 5 years only I have used Logitech G502, G402, G102 and G304, Steelseries Rival 110 and maybe a few more I dont remember. I have been using G304 for the last couple of years and I absolutely love it for its sensor, its finish and perfect fit for my hands, but like other logitech mouse in the last couple of years I have gone through 2 G102. All these mice develops double click issue or some other button issues rendering them useless hardly before a year is over. So, when my last mouse started showing symptoms of failure, I turned to look for cheap mouse. Since costly mouse doesnt mean longer life for sure. And this CosmicByte Equinox Alpha is a damn good mouse with damn great sensor Pixart PMW3325 Sensor. Apart from fit on my hand, it completely keeps up with all the other costlier gaming mice in the list above. Also now even if it fails within a year I would not fret and simply go buy the next CosmicByte gaming mouse (will update the review when this mouse bites the dust). Oh btw, the games I use this mouse for are CSGO, Apex Legends, Fortnite and Valorant. And I am an extremely low sensitivity player 200-300 dpi and among the cheaper mice only this mouse gives me the ability to go this low. One thing I have to note though is that, its pretty big, and although its fit is not preferable but sensor comes first for me, fit I can adjust by changing my grip.Pros :Extremely cheap for a mouse with real gaming sensorGoes very low DPIVarious lighting modes, and its colorful Streaming Lighting is absolutely gorgeous (if you do not like, there is always an option to disable lighting completely)Ofcourse accurate sensor with 1000hz polling rate.Nice thick braided cable.Cons :Pretty tall. So maynot be comfortable for manyPrinting at the back of the mouse is very low quality (just nitpicking here)

Good mouse, lasted 1.5 years for me
Mouse worked fine for me for 1.5 years. but after that, the left click was not getting registered properly i.e. i had to click multiple times for the mouse to register a click... Will be replacing soon... Maybe this is just a problem which i am facing, but just mentioning, as you should know before you buy...Over all in the 1.5 years of usage, this mouse was really good... I had used razor deathadder 2013 model previously, and bought this mouse as it's shape is similar. Long story short, had good time with this mouse!
