Super fun!
This game is fun, fast paced and super easy to learn! Tricky, since you have to be VERY alert, but loads of fun. Got it for my nephews and we have a blast every time we play. We played super fast rounds with up to 8 people, even our Nonna (86 years old) has a blast playing it!

Very Fun - And Doesn't End in Fights
My kids were on YouTube for about ten minutes before they discovered James. I was relieved that his content is so kid friendly. But when they started asking for this game, I was extremely skeptical. It sounded weaksauce and boring. But I finally bought it and we love this game. It is super easy to learn how to play - almost any age can play. It is quick moving and you don't need a lot of strategy so no one gets on a power trip. There are even a few ways you can play that can make the game harder or you can play with fewer people. I have to say, I'm impressed!

Pretty fun!
Very high quality. My kids are age 12, 10 and 7 so after reading the instructions and playing according to the rules, we came up with a modified version that we find delightful and stimulating. Playing a game that was created by our favorite YouTuber is extra special. Subscribe to TheOdd1sOut on you tube! James has become the cool BIG BROTHER that I approve of .

Fun game
My son loves the odd 1's out! He's a YouTuber that tells entertaining stories of his childhood and teenage years that are appropriate for any age and very relatable for kids. This board game is based off of characters from his stories, especially the moth story. The cards have four of each character and it comes with 5 moth figurines and a lamp figurine to collect. The directions were a little confusing but we still had fun with it. This is how we think it's supposed to be played- set up the figurines onto the mat with the lamp in the middle. The youngest player is the "dealer" and has to give each player four cards. The dealer goes first and draws one extra card so he has five. He looks at his cards and decides which card he wants to give to the person on his left. You want to collect four of the same character cards. The player on his left takes his card and then decides which card they would like to give to the person on their left and so on. The last person before the dealer's turn has to discard one card, they don't give it to the dealer, they make a discard pile. The dealer then draws another card and it goes around and around until someone gets four of a kind or two of the "everybody" cards, and they have to yell out "can't catch harry!" When someone yells this, everyone has to grab a moth figurine. You don't want to get stuck with the lamp figurine, that one is worth less points. The game goes on until all of the figurines are collected. The winner is whoever has the most points based on the figurines. I don't know if that's exactly how it's supposed to be played, but it worked. Overall, it's a cute set and it made my son really happy!

You'll Want to Catch Harry Again and Again!
My seven year old son is a huge fan of The Odd 1s Out YouTube channel and it's one of the few channels that my husband and I also enjoy watching with him. So we were delighted to find that this is also one of the few children's 'board' games we enjoy playing. As a matter of fact we Love it! It has become a favorite very quickly in our house! We have only played with 3 players but I imagine it is equally fun with more. The game comes in a very nice sturdy box with a magnetic flap to open. The 'board' is actually a mat similar to a thin mouse pad which rolls up to fit in a tray within the box. The tray also holds the 'game pieces' individually in shapes cut to match. The pieces themselves are adorable and made of quality material. The cards are also nice and sturdy, they do not bend or crease when shuffling. The pictures on the cards are very cute as well. They are bright and colorful and all feature familiar characters from The Odd 1s Out channel like 'Mr. Poe' and 'Sandwich Artist'. I was nervous about the game instructions because alot of the reviews claimed they were complicated or didn't make sense. We did not find this to be the case, it's pretty simple. I did download the revised instructions after skimming the included ones but they really just expanded on the the rules slightly. Don't hesitate buying! You will love it! I look forward to the expansion pack becoming available on Amazon!

This game is good!
My 10 year old son is a huge fan of the Odd 1s' YouTube channel and was desperate for this game when he learned about it. He says, "everyone should get this game because it's fun. You can play with no strategy or a huge strategy. I really like that I can adapt the rules to play differently each time!" And that sums it up!

Sadly not as much fun as we expected...
I hate to write a less-than-great review because we LOVE TheOddOnesOut (his YouTube videos are downright hilarious- this kid is a genius), but the game left quite a bit to be desired. It's good and simple for young kids I think, but my 14 yr old and 9 yr old (and us parents) weren't super enthralled. It's still a cute idea and cute art as you can expect from the creator, and I think it's cool he's encouraging fam time (even though we fought, JUST LIKE IN HIS VIDEO 😂). Games are subjective so you might still enjoy it with your fam!

Like spoons but way funner!
Players are dealt 4 cards and the deck is passed 1 card at a time around the group till somebody gets a set of 4 cards that match. You sneak the 3 point moth sculpture out of the middle and keep playing until another player notices one missing and grabs the moth next highest in value, theyre marked on the bottom. Tons of fun, easy to score and if you want to stop somebody from winning try to collect the 4 devil cards and reset the scores to Zero! Play is to 8 points, about 4 to 6 quick hands played.

Sorry we bought this game as it sounded great fun, however, when we followed the instructions, the game seems pointless, didn't seem possible with just 2 players. Instructions talk about passing a card you don't want to the next person on the left, but didn't explain when you can discard to the pile and pick up a new one. Therefore, you could end up passing the same card right round the players and not go anywhere!. If we are playing this wrong please let us know, I read the instructions numerous times and they just to explain the game fully.

While there is quite a cute factor to this game, the actual playing is not as fun as I had hoped. The first to four of a kind is meant to snatch Harry, but then there is an unclear scoring system... This threw my kids and they don't worry about that.
