🚀 Elevate Your FPV Experience!
The Matek Micro BEC is a high-efficiency synchronous step-down regulator designed for FPV racing quadcopters. With a wide input range of 6V to 30V, it supports 2s-6s LiPo batteries and delivers adjustable output options of 5V or 9V. Capable of handling continuous loads up to 1.5A, this regulator is perfect for enhancing the performance of popular carbon fiber frames like Martian II and QAV series.

Perfect BEC for my Drone build
These are really nice BEC's they are tiny and of high quality. I used these to step down battery voltage to power my flight controller as the 4 in 1 ESC that I used for my drone build did not have any 5v bec built into it. This is working perfectly for that use. As always Matek Sys products are of high quality and last a long time.

These are the ones!
You found them! These are the perfect tiny 5V BEC. I tried a bunch of different tiny 5V BECs. They all work fine but these are the tiniest. Will comment here if I find smaller ones. In the meantime, these are it!

awesome little regulators
These adjustable regulators are perfect for powering all sorts of low-voltage devices, not just model aircraft parts. They're great for powering small devices like single-board computers from a wide range of DC inputs.

Small wafers and nice matek quality
these are very small but work very nice to step down voltage , using to power caddx vista on a 6s quad, getting power from main vbat step down to 9,1 volts. I like how the three chips are still attached and the matek sealed bag .

Too cheap for price.
Very cheap. Bad pads make this a challenge to solder

You can trust these
I've used several of these across multiple FPV drone builds. They are excellent for stepped down power from VBat for those electronics that need lower (and clean) voltage.

Rated for 1.5A cont, 2.5A peak but burnt up at 2.33A in antweight combat robot
Ran a 3S LiPo through this for 9v stepdown and servo ran great with no load but any time had load of about a pound, the BEC burnt up. Tested with a second unit and ammeter read 1.7A with peak 2.33A for ~1 sec. Only buy this for use in a boat or aileron, don't use for something with actual current draw.

FINALLY somebody that gets it
Castellated edges and a second GND pin instead of a nearly useless enable pad. Appears to hit 5v right on the nose too.I think 3.3v/5v switchable would be more generically useful than having 9v, but it seems these are targeted towards idiots with overpowered VTXs so I can't really blame Matek.
