Totally tubular, man.
My 2011 JK was looking a little lacklusteredly naked without anything to cover up the hideous gap beneath the door and ground.I figured, "If I'm going to keep this thing, I need that gap on point. What chick wants a dude who has a gross gap beneath door and ground?"Even though chicks probably want a guy who doesn't worry about that gap being on fleek, I decided to purchase the totally tubular sidesteps; it was one of the best investments I've quite possibly ever made.Right out of the box, the Mopar quality shown like a beacon of hope for my boring ride. After staring at the instructions then rolling around on the driveway for a half hour to 45 minutes, they were installed. It was, for the most part, effortless. I remember looking at the instructions a few times and scratching my head, but I think I just needed to relearn how to read. All it took was a few bolts and screws and muscle and time and they were on.I don't really use them as a step, but they look sweet as Hell.If you're on the fence or in the gap on whether or not you want to buy them, do yourself a favor and just buy them; you won't regret it.

Made of cheap materials and wotthless as a step
Avoid these side steps and go with an aftermarket product. There is a reason the dealership doesn't include these, and a lot of dealerships put on after market steps. The metal is very thin, and will bend the first time you hit something. The use as a step is worthless. they are pretty much at the same height as the floor board, so stepping on to them only makes it awkward to get into your jeep. They will collect all the mud and dirt the front tires spray on them, and will only get your pants dirty as you step over them, because again, they are worthless as a step. The top part that you step on is made of cheap plastic. This was not described well by the seller or mopar. It makes the whole thing look very cheap. If you do decide to buy thehse, avoid Mopar Express Parts and buy from another seller. I was told that i'd be reimbursed for return postage, which was 42.00, and I was not. I emailed back and forth to the seller and the service was below par. There are much better products out there that will be better steps, provide better protection, that look better, and will last longer. Check out Ace Engineering. Those are what i'm getting instead.
