Nearly 2 years later and this cushion performed very well. Am not a fan of the seats where the bottom cushion is so slanted it's like you're sitting in a ditch or a pit (looking at you Toyota and Honda). This cushion really helped rectify that issue and also raised my driving position by an inch or so (used in 2008 Subaru Forester). Memory foam has very good density in this cushion and I tried several others that were too soft and virtually useless as they compressed too much under body weight (no, am not a fat American pig- a healthy and athletic 180lbs)The only issue I've had is with the buttons on the jeans' rear pockets catching on mesh fabric, but no rips so far, so a minor nuisance.

OMG!!! I received a Wedge Car Seat from a true earth angel. I suffer from sciatica, arthritis in my neck, and also in my back. I'm 75 years old and my chiropractor bills were escalating. A dear friend pitied me & surprised me with this truly amazing car seat. I now have one in my car & one in my favorite chair. Whatever was OUT of alignment is now IN alignment. I am NOT exaggerating. And it's so AFFORDABLE. Thank you Area 51. (:REVIEW UPDATE: I sleep in a recliner. Somehow, someway, I managed to get THE WEDGE fastened to the back of it. Three days after my review posted I woke up from a deep sleep in the wee hours of the morning. I noticed somediscomfort in my neck & back. Then I had an AHA MOMENT when I realized my back was NOT ALIGNED IN THE WEDGE CORRECTLY. I repositioned my body and fell back to sleep. When I awoke, I was pain free. Now, I must pose this question. How many people are in wheel chairs, rehab centers, and hospitals who could benefit from this life-altering device? I take this solemn oath, I AM IN NO WAY A PAID CONTRIBUTOR. I am merely an ASTOUNDED and very GRATEFUL customer. Blessings

Seems like a good product however it might just not be right for me. I bought it to help make driving a bit more comfortable after surgery but I think it’s meant more as a booster cushion than one of comfort. That is not to say it isn’t comfortable just at 6’4” I didn’t need to be 2-3” higher in my car. I’m sure some folks will find it useful.

We recently purchased this car seat for the fourth time in the past year. I bought three for my car - one of which is being used as a back rest in the driver's seat. The fourth was for Hubby's car, after he decided he really liked the seats in mine.The sliver-style seat design is just right for keeping legs comfortable, even during long drives. No high edges digging into the back of the legs. And the car seat serves as an excellent lower back support when you postion it behind you with the wider end at the base of your back.The color/shape/design blend well with my car's interior, and it still looks new after a year of use. It's easily cleanable with a wet cloth in case of a spill.
