Q: is the glass breaker carbide or just cheap steel?

Just looks like stainless steel to me, but I'm no expert.

Q: how long the blade is

The blade is about 3" nice and small about an inch is serated. Not a bad little I had one of the screws that hold the clip on fall out so watch that. I work in the rescue field so if you need something that needs to be opened by one hand this ain't it. Sorry for the extra info just thought best to pass it on.
