I was noticing bumps on my upper arms and shoulders, so I purchased this (and yes even Michael Cera came to mind as I did).I used it two or three times. Not in a row. Maybe every three to five days. After the second application I noticed a complete change and no bumps. I decided on the second to ass my feet and worked like a charm in one use (after putting socks on after the lotion then bed).I will be using it between other lotions and see if it keeps working. As an older person (though my mind refuses to give up past 21-25), I’ve always taken care of my skin, so the bumps freaked me out, but wow, got to love when a product does exactly as advertised (nudge nudge, wink wink)

It's a great lotion that absorbs fast, and I especially love that there is no greasy residue that other lotions and treatments have left me with. I can see that the salicylic acid is softening the rough spots on my upper arms which always flare up during the winter months. I am also using this lotion right after I shower while my skin is still slightly damp, and I feel like this really enhances its effect. I have sensitive skin, and the fragrance free does not irritate my skin at all which is not the case with scented alternatives, that leave my skin red and itchy!

I’ve been using this lotion for over a year now, and the difference in my skin texture is impressive. The rough patches on my arms and thighs have noticeably smoothed out, and those tiny bumps (keratosis pilaris, I think?) have almost disappeared. It absorbs quickly and doesn’t leave a greasy residue, which is a big plus.The scent is subtle and clean, and completely fragrance-free for my sensitive skin. Also, the packaging could use some improvement—it's hard to get the last bit out of the bottle.Overall, this is an effective product for anyone struggling with bumpy skin.

I have not healed after 1 week. But does seem to reduce the redness. Reduced the amount from previous days.

Been using this a few weeks after using exfoliating gloves in the shower and it's been a game changer. Still have some bumps but way less than before. I'm going to keep buying this and trying the cleanser is next!!

The lotion/cream is good although not a magic formula to eliminate the bumps or even prevent flaking. The dispenser however is the worst. This is expensive stuff, and the pump ceased to draw the thick salve up with about 1/3 bottle remaining. I ended up laying the bottle on its side and 24 hours later, using the pump tube to scrape the goop out. I was also able to prop the bottle up with the cap mostly on and 24 hours later, the thick salve was accessible at the top. The last few uses were overkill in order to use as much as possible of what was now collected at the opening. Will not repurchase until Cerave repackages this product in a user friendly cost effective container...like.. how about a simple squeeze tube!
