Cisco - WS-C2960CG-8TC-L - Catalyst 2960C Compact Ethernet Switch (Renewed)

I bought mine refurbished from RePower Electronics. Extremely good packaging, super clean, not a bit of dust anywhere. Booted fine, included power cable. Literally no issues, highly recommend this seller for good service. You can really tell when someone actually cares about having a satisfied customer.

Switch works as intended is in the shape you would expect for an older most likely business used piece of equipment. Purchased just to throw in my home lab to learn Cisco iOS CLI. Not a POE+ device as pictured so if you’re looking for POE+ buy off of eBay for the same price as this one. Four stars just for the inaccurate picture.

The item in the description clearly shows it has PoE. The switch that was sent to me does NOT have PoE. I’m pretty disappointed about that as I was planning on using that feature in the near future. Other than that, it seems to work fine. Condition is ok although it’s a bit scratched up but that’s not a deal breaker even though the description claims it’s in excellent condition. Setup went fine. Connections registered on the one port I tested so far. It’s silent.

This switch does NOT have PoE capabilities. If you're looking for a simple 1G Cisco switch that will get the job done, this is a good choice, but the picture is misleading which is quite sleazy. There's nothing in the description saying it is PoE so it's not like it's false advertising, but the point still stands.
