This was purchased as a gift for a cosmetology teen who wanted a drawer cabinet for storing make up and hair supplies. It's excellent! The drawers work smoothly and the rolling wheels can be locked in place. The drawers are not as deep as the front panel, they're shallow but for storing make up/small items/scrap booking papers the depth is ideal. Plenty of storage and organization with this cabinet!Regarding assembly: this took some time (a little over two hours - if we were to assembly a second one it would take half the time), but it wasn't difficult. A mom, an aunt (both of whom talked and laughed the whole time) and a teen girl (along with an inquisitive dog that kept walking over all the pieces) assembled the cabinet with no errors. The instructions are a little confusing in spots, so we did have to figure some things out on our own, and once we figured out how the pictures were designed it got easier as we went along. Sorting all the parts into sections and piles saved a lot of time in the long run. There's a lot of wooden pegs, and an interesting connection involving a round wheel-like disc and pin that fits into the discs and locks into place. Once we figured out how that wheel + pin worked we announced it was a genius design and moved pretty quickly whenever assembly required those parts.It was definitely helpful to have more than one person during assembly, to hold some of the parts in place while they were being assembled - however - I honestly believe that someone could assemble this on their own.More than half way through we worried that the cabinet would be unsteady and flimsy; however once everything was assembled and the stabilizing clips were fit into the back the cabinet was sturdy and seems a lot nicer than the price would indicate! Overall a very good purchase, looks great, works great, and the price was very reasonable. Highly recommend!

I found these instructions a bit tricky to follow despite all the reviews saying they were simple to follow. That said, it just caught me off guard but once in the groove all went well. I was replacing an extremely flimsy 10 drawer cabinet made mostly of plastic. This piece is so very sturdy and heavy I expect it will last for years holding my jewelry making supplies. I was honestly hoping it held even more supplies in this 7 drawer unit but it was about the same as my old unit. I would definitely buy this unit again knowing that assembly would be a bit more complicated than I thought. All that said, it was fully assembled within a couple of hours but I’m really handy with these skills. I did check out a YouTube video Devaise 7 drawer dresser for make up by Stephanie. She, by far was the best at helping me get started on the assembly.

We purchased this unit to add some storage to our home office. It looks great and feels solid once assembled, and the 7 drawers offer quite a bit of extra space to stash odds and ends.I would describe the quality of materials as somewhat below IKEA, though the assembly instructions were top-notch and the parts were labeled.Assembly itself took a while, mostly due to having to assemble all 7 drawer units. I would recommend procuring a drill with a screwdriver attachment to speed things up, as well as some super glue to help reinforce the cross-brace piece in the back. The toughest step was the one where you join the left and right surfaces together, as the pieces of wood used to do so are thin and cheap with no margin of error for a single-person assembly. I ended up cracking the wood and saved this step with copious super glue.

Last year I ordered one of these (7 drawer), and I just received another two. All three came undamaged, with all needed parts, and with holes properly placed. Assembly did take time as expected. I'm using two for my kitchen and one for the bedroom closet. The deep drawers in my bedroom dresser are better suited for larger items, Having more shallow drawers keep things like socks and undergarments more visible and organized. Everyday I think of more uses for these drawers. Would highly recommend, as long as you don't plan on loading very heavy items into the drawers. Also suggest having a power drill to save your hands, even though they do include a manual screw driver. Easier with two people to assemble.
