MAXI COSI PRIA CAR SEAT (INFANT & TODDLER) ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 STARS OUT OF 5 STARS MY FAMILY LOVES THIS CAR SEAT & CAN’T RECOMMEND IT ENOUGH. WE’VE ORDERED THREE OF THEM NOW FOR ALL OF OUR CHILDREN AND ARE EXTREMELY PLEASED! THE DESIGN IS MORE BULKY THAN MANY OTHER CAR SEATS BUT IT FEELS MORE SECURE AND COMFORTABLE AND PADDED FOR THE SEATED CHILD. INITIAL INSTALLATION IS A BIT TOUGH AND CONFUSING. THE CAR SEAT LATCHES THOUGH THE SEAT BELT SYSTEM IN THE CAR ITSELF, SO MANEUVERING THE CARS EXISTING SEATBELT THROUGH THE NECESSARY LATCHES IN THE CARSEAT CAN GET TRICKY, AT FIRST, KNOWING WHERE EACH STRAP SHOULD GO. ALSO, IF YOU DON’T HAVE SMALL HANDS THREADING THE SEATBELT STRAP PROPERLY IS DIFFICULT TO MANEUVER. THERE ARE TWO CUP HOLDERS INCLUDED WHICH SIMPLY TWIST IN TO CLASP. THE CUP HOLDER CUP ITSELF CAN BE REMOVED EASILY BY A CHILD BUT ARE QUICK AND EASY TO RESET. THIS CARSEAT COMES WITH PADDING AND INFANT INSERT PIECES TO ACCOMMODATE CHILDREN OF ALL AGES AND SIZES. EACH INSERT PIECE IS EASILY INSTALLED AND CAN BE SIMPLY REMOVED ONCE OUTGROWN. WE’VE USED THIS CARSEAT BOTH FORWARD FACING AND REAR-FACING AS ITS DESIGN IS MADE TO GROW WITH THE CHILD. ONE PROBLEM WE ENCOUNTERED WAS HAVING ENOUGH SPACE FOR THE DRIVER TO EXTEND THEIR SEAT BACK WITH THE CARSEAT PLACED DIRECTLY BEHIND THEM, WHEN REAR FACING. MEANING, AS A TALL PERSON, I WAS NOT ABLE TO HAVE MY DRIVERS SEAT AS FAR-BACK AS I NEEDED IT WHILE ALSO HAVING A REAR-FACING CARSEAT DIRECTLY BEHIND ME. WE HAD TO PREMATURELY FRONT FACE THE CARSEAT DIRECTLY BEHIND THE DRIVER TO HAVE ENOUGH SPACE TO COMFORTABLY DRIVE. (I AM 5’ 11” TALL AND THIS WAS IN A JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE— JUST FOR CAR AND DRIVER SIZE REFERENCE.)

After using the Safety 1st car seat for years, we finally switched to the Maxi-Cosi Pria for our 4-year-old—and I honestly wish we had done it sooner. The difference between the two is incredible. With the Safety 1st, my daughter constantly complained it was “not so comfy.” On longer drives, she would be fussy and miserable. The seat never felt stable, no matter how tightly we installed it—it wobbled every time we drove. The Velcro would peel off easily, the cup holders would either fall out or get unscrewed by my toddler, and there was no recline option, so she couldn’t rest or relax. Now with the Maxi-Cosi Pria, it’s a completely different experience: 1. My daughter tells me every day how comfy she is and so much more content on car rides. 2. The cup holders are built in and secure..they don’t come loose, twist, or fall off. 3. Installation was SO much easier. My husband said it snapped in effortlessly, and it feels solid in our back seat. 4. The seat reclines 3 ways and it has made naps+ long drives way more comfortable for her. The only minor downside is that the cup holders are a bit small, but so far all of her cups have fit. It’s also bulkier than our old seat, but that’s not an issue for us since we only have one child. Honestly, the added comfort and safety are worth every bit of extra space. If you’re going back and forth between Safety 1st and the Maxi-Cosi Pria, choose the Maxi-Cosi. It’s far more secure, better built, and clearly designed with both parent and child in mind. I’m so happy knowing we’ll be using this seat until she outgrows it around age 10. No regrets. This was one of the best upgrades we’ve made!

Great car seat.. hard to complain at all. Comfortable for the kids (it feels) and pretty light weight.

Feels very nice! Our girl looks and seems to feel secure in this car seat. It was easy to install and adjust as needed. The cup holders are nice for her toys and bottles, and it was nice that it didnt weigh 8 million lbs! Overall very pleased- we have this and the Graco extend-to-fit and I prefer this one!

We had purchased the Magellan Max 4-in-1 For our daughter in 2020 and have loved it so wanted to go with Maxi cosi for our 10 month old as well. We chose this seat because it offers almost all of the same features that we love about the Magellan but at a more affordable price and with a slimmer profile as well. We love the look of the seat and it seems very comfortable for our son when he is strapped in. It is easy to Get him in and out and very easy to clean. Installation is also easy, but the guides on the seat itself are where our only complaint comes in. It is very confusing when installing the seat in the third recline position while rear facing. The number is partially covered, which worried us that we did not have it completely locked into that position. We have to triple and quadruple check that it is in fact locked into the position anytime we move the seat, and do not like the guide markers on the seat For this reason. (Picture attached of the guide markers on the installed seat once locked into the 3rd position.) The leveling line is also difficult to read as it is just a line on the sticker on the outside of the seat rather than an actual bubble level like Magellan has. Aside from the guide stickers on the outside of the seat Not lining up as we would expect the seat itself has been great

Bought this car seat for my 15 month old. I did so much research on car seats and their safety features/comfortability and this one was highly rated so I purchased it. She has been using it for a month now and I literally have no complaints! Easy to install the seat, as well as buckle and unbuckle her. She seems to be comfortable buckled in this seat.

10/10 car seat. We did so much research before we landed on this one. The price is fairly reasonable. It isn’t too heavy, but feels sturdy and safe! It’s also easy to install and transfer from my SUV to my husband’s truck. We will be getting another one for our second.

LOVE this car seat for our daughter. So cozy for her and super cute also. It is very durable and I don't question her safety in it at all. The only thing is that the cupholders come out very easily and don't really stay in when you put them back in. But, I love how all the parts and pieces come out for easy cleaning.
