These are just what I needed. A simple inline on-off switch with a 2-prong plug. My receptacle is only for 2-prong, will not accept 3-prong. Works fine so far.

Nothing to dislike with the item. For my Christmas decor.

Use them all over the house. From coffee pot to holiday lights. Helpful switch is easy to use. Easy fix for things that you plug in and unplug. A+

The on an off switch lights up. Used for everything

These switches are quite inexpensive. I have one that I use with my coffee maker, one that I use for my vacuum cleaner, and on that is plugged into a wall socket just in case. There are appliances which have an on/off switch that will break at some point. Try repairing it. However, if you flip the switch on the appliance once, and never again, something else might break, but not the switch which you have bypassed. The item being reviewed will occupy an outlet, but it is removeable should the need arise. It is one of the simplest things I own. Set it and forget it. I knew somebody made one, I just had to look and where better than Amazon.
