Q: How long is the wiring

Hi The ones I bought had about one metre of black and red two core wiring which was more than enough for my requirements . If you need more you can buy it from most diy stores or Amazon for next to nothing !

Q: can i use these in my swift eccles caravan to replace a similar style broken LED spot light please

I have used two to replace similar LED wall lights in my boat. They are first class, easily fitted, compact and very bright. Ideal for reading. FL

Q: Which 12v transformer is suitable for these lights?

These lights are rated at 3W. Wats = V x A so 3 = 12 x A, so A =3/12 = 0.25 You could get away with an old telephone charger. look at the rating label - you want 12V 1 to 2 A. You do need to get the polarity right having cut off the conector to the phone. I have a multimeter for that job. Other alternatives are cntrollers for model train sets / scalectric. . Allthe above are transformer rectifiers. 12Vtransformers are readily available on trading sites but they are typically 230V AC TO 12 -16 V AC to which you have to add an AC to DC rectifier If the above is not clear consult a qualified electrisian Dave 41 years in electricity transmission

They turn themselves on ???

They are great little lights with surprising bright led spread.very easy to instal and the touch brighter or dimmer works really well.How strange that when they feel like it two of them tunen on even if the van has been standing for a few days.They also come on when I am nearby with my walky talky. Update 12/07 one of the units which happened to be the one that turned itself on the most, started to smell like burningI disconnected it and found a brown burn mark to the underside of the unit where it meets the over head cupboard.Not nice!

A lot smaller than expected not yes fitted up but looks lovely

Randomly turns on

Easy to install, bright enough and look okay.Problem is that one of them randomly turns on. Both lights installed side-by-side in the same way, so I can only conclude it's a faulty unit.SUPAREE if you're reading this, please send a replacement.

Bright reading light

This runs off 12v and is polarity sensitive so red to positive etc. the unit dims and switches on/off at a touch and has a USB plug.Probably draws 5w on full chat so runs cool and is a nice clean upgrade to the filament lamp replacement. Remains to be seen how long they last but so far, so good.

Turn on by themselves

Nice idea . Look great .. but turn on by themselves .. flatten battery ? Fire risk ? We have to turn of all 12v at main point now when we go out . The same design with an on off switch would be perfect . Might try and return .. but then have to remove from caravan . In hindsight usb Light combi great . But avoid touch / dimmer function

Wow, very nice reading lights

Used in camper, very nice lights. Charger usb added bonus. Very bright, easy to use with the touch function. Looks cool.A bit small tbh, but still nice.
