Work well over a wide voltage range.
Supplied with 12V, these active piezo units are ear-busters, producing a piercing intermittent sound. You can of course reduce the volume by reducing the supplied voltage. Well worth the money.

Not very loud
I bought these as a turn signal reminder on an old Ford that requires me to turn off the turn signal manually. The car is on 6 volts, and while the spec sheet says 3 volts, I absolutely can not hear either of the units. Even when connected to 12 volts, they are not very loud.
