I am so disappointed!! By picturing the "chair" with the frame - for some reason I believed that the frame came with the chair. My daughter thought the same thing as the package showed the frame as well. Chair being discontinued, frame pictured but not shown anywhere separately, the frame not clearly stating that it was sold separately - yeah both myself and my daughter thought the frame came with the chair. The frame was nowhere to be found and when I did find it, for $200 I could get a chair with it and it came from another company.I went for that ploy about being "eco friendly" but we wanted to use it inside the house on a frame that could be moved outside when needed, not destroy a military rental unit by drilling into the ceiling studs. It was to be a gift for a child as a "safe" quiet time place, but that didn't happen.I ended up purchasing a freaking metal porch swing frame that now will be permanently an inside piece of furniture. How's that sound: "I decorate in early patio" We will make it work, but I don't appreciate being fooled when the other frames for this same chair are all "trailer hitch" camping things.I am just saying I am and my daughter is very disappointed - theoretically speaking, this was a good idea that has gone very wrong.

I love this chair for it's comfort, preferring it to the other type that has the bar in front. The only thing keeping it from getting 5 stars from me is the material it's made of--sadly not 100% cotton, so somewhat scratchy--but I suppose more durable and water resistant. The beverage holder is pretty useless unless except for beer or canned sodas but having a side chair next to it renders that issue moot. Everyone who has sat in it has asked where I got it so I'm guessing my assertion as to it's comfort is pretty accurate. I had to buy the frame because it would not hang where I wanted it on my porch so I don't know whether it works as well without the X-stand. I like the flexibility of being able to move it around with the seasons/sun. I just wish it had been available in some cooler, earth-tone colors besides camoflage.

I love Green Eggs and Hammocks products I have the X-Chair with the original string seat which was amazing! Sadly my cats destroyed the string seat and it seems to be impossible to get another. I saw the good reviews on this chair and heard it would work with my x-chair frame so I got it. In order to have it shipped to Canada you pretty much end up paying double once you factor in shipping and duty so I was really hoping for something great. We were disappointed. It's ok but it's nowhere near as comfortable as the string kind. Both my husband and I find that the base edge of the chair hits our thighs in a really strange place that just isn't comfortable. You can off set that effect by using the foot rest but only if you keep your knees bent and your feet pulled in. As a result what was my most favourite chair in the world has now been relegated to an unused part of the house.

I am fortunate to have the Green Eggs and Hammock X-Chair stand that is no longer available. This chair fits it perfectly. I have had a similar chair that I hung outdoors but I hated the structure of the wood spreader bar hanging support that is the normal for these type of chairs. It took a minute to hang it up (there are no instructions, but didn't need any, it was intuitive for me since I have owned this type of chair before). Be aware the cup holder is small. It is adjustable and comfortable in my opinion. I appreciate the elbow support and the leg support. I ordered it in blue. Looks great. However, I think all of the colors would be really nice (I only have room for one in my house). I enjoy it in my living room. My favorite reading spot!

I bought this to replace a SkyChair hanging chair that had lasted for almost 15 years. Didn't think at first that I would like it as much, but when I got it hung up this afternoon, I sat down and proceeded to immediately fall asleep in it. Good things:1. Attached pillow -- not too big, fits just right at the back of my neck2. Smooth fabric -- much better texture than the SkyChair and not as rough on my skin3. Double D ring length adjustments -- the SkyChair used velcro and had limited adjustability for height of the arm rests. With the double D rings, adjustments are much easier to make. Plus, the foot rest height can be adjusted easily. The SkyChair footrest had to be tied in place.Love it!

Comfortable chair; we having hanging from a tree. There are a lot of ropes holding this thing together so it was a little challenging for me to get it straightened out and ready to hang by myself. But overall very pleased with the construction and final result.

Seems strong...bought it for my wife, hangs very low on the chair mount, otherwise 5 stars. My wife is short and would like it higher, but won't adjust any more. Would be good on another swing mount.

This chair is easy to set up. It is VERY comfortable! I could spend hours sitting in it. I hung it on a frame that once held a double swing and it works perfectly. You will not be disappointed if you buy this chair!
