Works out of the box and is very handy.
This is a very handy option. Bought it for a trip covering almost 4,000 miles and wife uses it to hold cell phone, sunglasses and her lip balm. Pops in and is stable without any adhesive.

You probably don’t need this as much as you think
Purchased to add some storage area for my jeep jk . They fit ok come out a lot but most importantly they provide just a minimal amount of storage. With my phone case on it barely fits, you really can’t put much in this . But if you want I’m an impulse buyer which explains this purchase and the cost is just low enough to not want to worry with sending back . In most circumstances the slot in the handle area will hold most things you could store in this small space
