Liquid silicone rubber for soft molds R PRO 10, non-toxic and easy to use (1:1), high tear and break resistance, suitable for DIY molds

Does what is says...no issues, in fact ordered another one. :-) Photo not great (my fault), but easy to use. :-)

Used this to make a mould for a casting, was so impressed I bought a second batch. It has the consistency of double cream when mixed and flows really easily. Make sure your edges are fully sealed! I had a tiny gap in mine and it started to flow through. When cured it has a hardness similar to the stiffer parts of a gel insole for shoes. Stretches a *lot*, some of the thinner pieces left on the side of the mixing tub stretched about 5-6 times its length before pulling away from the tub. Details come out incredibly well, my original had both a mirror finish and a matt finish in places, it faithfully reproduced both. I used a *very* think layer of Vaseline (applied with a brush) as a release agent on the more intricate details and the matt areas. Didn't need anything to release off the mirrored areas for it all to release fine. Keep it away from platinum silicone curing inhibitors and it will serve you well, can't recommend enough.

I don't' understand the 1 star reviews for this product, its perfect! If your silicone is not curing, it will be something you did wrong I'm afraid! Such as using s sulpur based plasticine which you can use with other silicones but not this one. It was the easiest silicone I've ever used to mix, pour and de-mould! This will be my go-to silicone from now on!

Combined 300ml of A with 300ml of B, room temp was 24c, stated cure time is 3 hours, 9 hours in and it's almost cured now. Bottle states cure time will be extended at temps under 23c. Fully mixed, uniform colour, no logical reason it should take this long. Apart from that it's a decent enough product at a decent enough price. Will buy again, but next time I'll leave plenty of cure time.

I used this as instructed. equal weights of each component. I will be left with about 25% of one container when the other is gone

I made sure to mix thoroughly, use a 1:1 ratio as per the product page, and pour from a height, and I was still left with bubbles all throughout my mold, and where it meets the model was uncured after leaving it for 3 days. I still have some left so I will try again, this time de-gassing and if it fares any better I will amend my review but as it stands I am going back to using smooth on

Absolutely rubbish. Sets fine and nice and bendy but the surface you want all the detail remains sticky for ever. I even left one mold in IPA overnight and it still made no difference. Will never ever buy again. (Made the mistake of buying 2 sets because it seemed a good deal)

The lid was badly screwed on so we lost around 20% of hardener because of this leak

Ho acquistato questa gomma siliconica tre volte. In tutti e tre i casi la qualità è stata costante e ottima. Non avevo mai realizzato stampi in silicone ma il procedimento è risultato semplicissimo, la copia finale degli oggetti assolutamente perfetta e fedele all'originale fin nei minimi dettagli. Le due parti che devono essere mescolate sono facili da misurare (metà di una, metà dell'altra!) e la miscelazione è molto semplice visto che sono di due colori diversi. Estrarre il modello di partenza (fatto in materiale plastico) è molto agevole, stessa cosa per l'estrazione della copia (io ho usato del gesso scaiola). Veramente un'esperienza molto positiva.

Me parece un poco cara, quizás porque es la primera vez que uso esto y en experimentos se gasta rápido, tampoco sé si es la más adecuada para mi, la próxima vez pediré consejo por teléfono antes de hacer el pedido

Gisteren ontvangen en vandaag uitgeprobeerd. Ik was huiverig vanwege de vele negatieve recensies, maar ben juist heel tevreden! Makkelijk af te meten, hard snel uit (3 uur) en is vrij soepel, maar geen shore 12. Eerder 15. Luchtbellen trekken snel weg of kun je wegblazen of prikken met een tandenstoker. Als het eenmaal aan het uitharden is dan hoef dat niet meer. Geen enkel belletje erin! Nu kan ik mijn "Tictactoe" in één keer maken, in plaats van steeds 2 kruizen en 2 rondjes. Ik ben tevreden 🙂

Ottimo prodotto ordinato più volte

Corrisponde esattamente al risultato descritto dal produttore. Usato per creare stampi per gesso con molti sotto squadri e dettagli intarsiati. Lo stampo è riuscito perfettamente, estratto dalla cassaforma dopo circa 4 ore e usato per la prima colota il giorno successivo. La superficie non è appiccicosa. Dopo 11 colate lo stampo e’ perfetto, riproduce fedelmente l’originale ed è sufficientemente elastico da permettere l’estrazione del calco senza danneggiare i sotto squadri
