Love the color!
Got it for my boyfriend, he loved it. It was decently sharp and good quality. It’s not a snap open knife it opens more on the slow side.

Beyond worth the price
This blade is very strong and durable considering the price you get it at. It’s a perfect size to fit in your pocket, and I loved the beautiful neon colors it has.

LOVELY
The design is flawless, it is worth the purchase if you are looking for something legal, sturdy, sharp, handy for work, etc.The only thing is that I wish it provided us with more options in styles/colors, specifically solid colors with no print, but I understand why the print is on some of them, very cool blade and I am pleased with my purchase.

Great low cost knife
This is my 2nd Tac Force TF-705GY , knife. I had the previous knife for a little more than a year. The first knife came very sharp and held a great edge, I only had to sharpen about once every two months and I used it quite often for a variety of uses.I replaced it because the assisted opening became weak. The only thing I really don't like about the knife is the glass-breaker, so far its poked holes in two pairs of shorts where I have it clipped in an upper or side pocket. The glass breaker is a bit sharp and also pokes me in the leg when sitting. I was going to grind it off and never got to it. The new knife glass-breaker is not as sharp. You can also use the glass-breaker on phillips head screws and flat blade head screws if in a tight spot. The new knife opening mechanism is a bit stiff, I need to oil it and hopefully with some use it will function as well as the last one. The new knife did not come as sharp as the last, and took a little work to get a good edge on. It's possible they may have used a different batch of steel, most likely they are using salvaged steel to save on cost and there can be considerable differences in the quality of the steel if so.Regardless, this is an excellent utility knife. The serration on both knives is very sharp, the original stayed very sharp over the course of a year. The open groove in the blade is good for pulling small nails or for securing to a long stick, along with the other open areas on the knife if you happen to carry paracord on you.The bottle opener works great but the knife must be open to do so, so be careful when using.I've never had a problem with screws coming loose.I have had it open a couple of times in my pocket, fortunately the point when clipped faces downwards so you should not catch your hand on it, but when removing it could catch in your clothes and cut them or you if not careful. My Gerber Skeleton on the other hand clipped with the point up, and occasionally it would be slightly open and get my hand, so I prefer the Tac Force from this standpoint. The blade is very simple and quick to deploy by using the index finger to pull back slightly on the recessed rear tang of blade when closed. My friend ordered one and was using his thumb to flip the blade himself until I showed him how to properly open it, using the thumb is a great way to find out how sharp the serrations are.I've seen some folks comment they could not figure out how to close, when opened the rear tang of the blade is locked by a spring loaded bar. If holding with the right hand you just need to press in with your thumb on the bar at the same time pressing down slightly on the non-sharpened upper edge of the blade and the blade will release and begin to close. The deployment tang will keep the blade from closing on your thumb, overall the opening and closing of the blade is a smooth, simple, one handed operation. This appears to be a better knife for a right-handed person, but I'm sure a lefty could operate just as easily. The knife looks great and my 2nd came in a very nice box, which quickly went into a very nice garbage can. The 1st came in a small plastic bag which was fine. The knife has a little bit of weight to it and a solid feel, it constructed of all metal.Overall I'm very happy with it, it has a great look and for the cost I don't mind replacing every year or so. I'll probably order a few more for gifts, they come in a variety of colors which is also nice, though I personally prefer the drab grey model.

Fast, solid, and great for the bugout bag!
I like to think of myself as the Queen of budget buying. This has not always been the case, but due to retirement and being on a fixed income, I get to spend lots of time finding the best thing I can for the best price that doesn't make me say ... "will this mean I don't get to eat when I'm 87?" Well fortunately, this purchase may help with that. Because while I may not have the money to eat when I'm 87, I will have this knife, and will be able to take down rabbits and groundhogs with the spear I will be able to make from it. And then eat them. But I digress. My favorite knife was a Tekna divers knife that I had for many years and strapped it to my thigh or upper arm while ... no, not diving ... camping and hiking throughout the East coast and up into Canada. That knife was a beast. A solid hunk of stainless steel, serrated at the base, skeleton handle, and unbreakable ABS sheath with Velcro straps. Eventually I sold it to a nice guy in Hawaii who was buying it for his grandson whom he was teaching to dive. I'm sure that knife could capably rip through a sharks throat. A better use for it than just sitting around after I stopped camping and hiking as much.I found a Colt branded folder on closeout that I really liked. But I like it so much I didn't want to use it and mess it up. So it stays in a drawer. I have a few Mora knives that are awesome, but I needed a knife that would fold, open quickly, and not be a great loss if it got taken away by zealous authorities wanting to protect society from an elderly motorcycle-riding lady with a knife. So I got this knife. And it is great. Sharp. Pops open easily even with these mildly-arthritic hands. Locks securely. Not tiny, nor light, nor compact, that's for sure. But hey, when I reach into my pocket I can FIND it straight away, no doubts there.Just a great value and you know what? Survivalists say to have a stock of some items to trade for necessities you might not have in case of the zombie apocalypse. What could be MORE tradeable than a cool knife like this? Pop a half-dozen of these in that bugout bag!

gutes Messer
