Dead Rising: Chop Til You Drop - Nintendo Wii

Let's get the comparison out of the way first. No, Dead Rising: Chop Till You Drop is nothing like the 360 version... and it's not supposed to be. There, how's that?Now, let's move onto the review to judge the game on it's OWN merits:1. The control scheme on this game works very well. A simple press of the A button swings weapons. Use B to toggle the gun mode and A to fire. Simple. Special moves are executed by pressing certain button combinations at the right time. Straight forward and done very well.2. The graphics do the trick and are decent. Not bad at all. Then again, graphics do not make a game. They help, don't get me wrong, but they DO NOT make the game. The additional types of zombies adds a different level of fun and unease to the game.3. The game flows at a good pace and the balance between the cases and sub-missions is very well done.4. There are many things to unlock and it really is not a chore to play through the game over again. Even after several play-throughs, killing zombies is still fun.5. The aiming system in this game is PHENOMENAL. At no point in the game is it a daunting task to score headshots galore with ease. The weapon varieties are also decent.6. The story is good, typical B-movie fare. It's not meant to be A-class stuff, so all of you out there complaining about the story need to just shut up and deal with it. Go cry somewhere else. The voice acting isn't great, but it does the trick.OVERALL, I would recommend this game. Dead Rising: Chop Till You Drop is more than welcome for a system that is being overrun with cutesy, mini-game laden crap. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go kick some zombie butt... again and again!

The game came within the noted delivery date and once I got it, I couldn't put it down. I honestly prefer the Wii version to the 360 version. They fixed a lot of the problems on the Wii that the 360 had. You can save on more than on file, you can buy weapons with the cash you collect from copleting missions and killing zombies. And you always keps your guns since you pick up bullets from enemies and so fourth. Oh and all it sure is a great buy.

I ordered this game (with free 2nd day delivery) over the weekend. I waited patiently to "chop til I dropped", it finally arrived and I put it in without hesitation (BIG COD zombies fan), this game blows!! The controls suck! I am used to, like with all other Wii shooter games, aiming with the remote NOT the Nunchuck stick, STUPID!! Secondly, whats with the zombies constantly respawning after you've cleared out a room?! The diversity of weaponry is nice, though! Other than that, this game will probably go on the "back shelf" of my collection...way to go Capcom! And please tell me, who was the 'genius' who thought about "stunning" zombies with a direct head shot?! I guess the creators of this game NEVER saw a zombie movie, a shot to the head meant dead, again!!

This is a great little game as long as you don't think about it all that much.What I mean is the actual plot sequences are really cheesey! The action is fun because you have an unlimited amount of zombies to wander through and kill which is the whole point of the game. But there really is nothing you need to think about just have fun .....point, click,and fire type of fun!

Still haven't played it yet but still haven't played it yet or telling how the first one was and you have to use the controls it'd be different but show the same zombie hunting experience

I only had a Wii when I purchased this and I thoroughly enjoy the game. But after playing a demo of the game on another console I saw what was missing in this version. If all you have is a Wii them get this for it but if you have another platform get it for that.

My Grandson is too young for this game. Not the games fault, not the child's fault, it's Papaw's fault. Just ask Mamaw.

This game is awesome. The graphics are cool and the controls are where they need to be on the controller. One thing that I didnt care for was the night missions were too dark and basically couldnt see but i guess that was to add to the difficulty. Other than that I found the game very good.

This game is just good fun. Graphics are okay and the acting is corny. However, killing Zombies in a Mall using almost any object you can carry is absolutely the best part. The game is broken up into a bunch of small adventures so it is much easier to work through. A good way to 'Kill' and afternoon.

I had this game a few years back and wanted to Play it again. It's great that you can find good games and device!
