Amazing writeup, thank you.
Thank you Dayton Audio for every detail you show for your driver's. It makes design time 20 times easyer!!!The sub is amazing for its size. Make yourself a decent designed box, and this thing will give you nightmares chasing what's rattling on your shelf. I tuned this speaker to +22dB at 78hz with the box shown. Again thank you Dayton Audio for making an affordable brand, but still take audio seriously and state all the specs you could possibly need. Much 🫶 to you Dayton Audio!!!Sorry about the rattle in the vid, with +22dB at 78hz, this tiny driver shakes my tools on my desk. It really doesn't mess around this driver 👍

good quality for the price
This little speaker works well for a surround speaker. There is a lack of midrange compared to my radius 90 speakersI have paired this driver with a peerless tweeter and is fine

Decent driver, but it is only 4"
A decent little driver with plenty of ability to move. I used this as a subwoofer in an "extended bass shelf" reflex design in an arcade machine, and it does the job.

Could not get better replacement for the price given l, very happy
Had to replace the 4inch mid low speaker on my R1850Bd edifier monitors as it was delivering rattle sound,20 min job and seems to perform with more depth in bassRaccomand for a replacement of any 4";)

Simply Superb
I was looking to build a small bookshelf speaker and chose these as the main drive unit. Glad I did, they are simply superb. Tonally these are very neutral, and the amount of bass these can put out is incredible. Obviously you need the right cabinet size, crossover and good a tweeter. If someone would mass produce the design I did, then these would fly off the shelf of any decent hi if retailer for £200 - £300, they sound that good.I have listened to a lot more expensive speakers that don't sound anywhere near as good. Feel free to ask a question if you want the design. :)

Good sounding punchy bass units
I used these to replace the bass units in some old Videologic speakers. A straight swap and very pleased with the sound which might even be better than the original units.
