Q: I wear size 8 women. What size should I get? (I read Balega's size chart but still want to hear from the buyers.)

I wear a size 8 shoe and ordered mediums to replace what I had bought in a running store, not knowing what size I had purchased in the past. They are way too big. I had to return all pairs and re order small size (after going to running store because I needed some asap). I have no issue with slipping and they are very comfortable.

Q: what women's shoe sizes equate to medium, large, and extra large?

I can't say the exact sizes for sure, but I ordered a small and wear a shoe size 6.5. I think the small would be up to 7 because there is still some room enough for a half size. I would think med would be 7-8, large 9-10 and so on

Q: Is this price for 1 pair?

Yes one pair, expensive but oh so comfy!

Q: Is this just one pair in the package?

Typically yes. Depends on the reseller and packaging. I have only bought them so far as "a pair" per order. BEST SOCKS EVER!

Best socks

What's not to love - they are so comfy they make me want to go for run whenever I put them on. I do resist the running sometimes but they are great to walk in, stand in and even sit in too.I have not slept in them ...yet.Will buy more .o just ask for them for Christmas and pray that I don't get a cheap substitute ... seriously good socks

Quite Possibly The Most Comfortable I've Tried

I was told recently I should exercise far more - at the age of 63 I've been pretty sedentary for a good few years. So eventually I got around to doing it and gradually built up my walking (I can't run to save my life) to 6 miles a day.Then the aches and pains set in. So get a decent pair of walking shoes/trainers. Fine, but I found I needed a decent pair of socks to avoid the blisters and other problems.I tried all sorts, but believe me these are pretty good. I'm not giving five stars as I still get the odd problem, but I truly believe these have helped me to become more active.Highly recommended.

Ideal for long distance runs!

I just got home from a 21k run wearing these socks with no new blisters. The old blisters I had from running a half marathon before I bought these are also healing, with no worsening from the four 15k plus runs I've done since buying these socks.I've previously relied on sports tape but found it actually made things worse paired with these socks. I'm better off with just the socks. Honestly so pleased!
