Burt's Bees Natural Acne Solutions Targeted and Minimizing Spot Treatment for Oily Skin, 0.26 Oz (Package May Vary)

I really love this stuff! Last year, my birth control changed which meant a change in hormones and the onset of some pretty tough acne. I had been using Clinique prior to the change, but it didn't seem to touch the kind of breakouts I was having. I switched to Proactiv and those products helped somewhat, but really didn't give the clear skin it promised. Then I found the Burt's Bees line and this lovely solution. Not only does it clear my skin of very painful acne, but it does so quickly and without drying. I dab a little on a cotton ball (it's a liquid, not a gel) and tap it onto any existing breakouts, as well as areas where I can feel new breakouts starting. I have relief in hours and, in about 24 hours, most spots have completely vanished. One recent test was a couple weeks ago when I got married. I woke up with several "stress zits" on my chest and chin. By the time of the evening ceremony, the breakouts were hardly visible. This stuff kind of smells like lemony licorice, which can be unpleasant. But the odor doesn't linger and the results are totally worth it.

I am over 50 with sensitive skin, and still break out with acne. Burt's Bees Targeted Spot Treatment is the only product that eliminates the red spots and occasional pimples for me. After washing with Burt's Bees Natural Acne Solutions Purifying Gel Cleanser twice a day, I dab a couple of drops of the Targeted Spot Treatment on the affected areas. Sometimes it stings for a second or two, then after that it is fine. Even though it dries out the area, I don't mind, because it heals better and twice as fast as other products I used! I have been using the Targeted Spot Treatment for 6 weeks now and my face has cleared up tremendously! I have tried many products for decades, and now I only use Burt's Bees. I also use their Sensitive Daily Moisturizing Cream because it is the only moisturizer I found that doesn't make my skin reddish after using it. I tried their Spot Treatment Cream and, although it worked okay, my hair would stick to it. That was when I started using the Targeted Spot Treatment, which I like so much better. Another change I made is that I only use towelettes (the kind that remove makeup) to wash my face. I used to use regular wash cloths, but with towelettes, my face feels so much smoother and less scaley. The roughness of wash cloths aggravated my skin. I recommend Burt's Bees Natural Acne Solutions Targeted Spot Treatment for those with sensitive skin and those who are older, like me, who still break out in acne. I am so happy I found this product, so hopefully it will work for you, too.

I have never had skin issues until I turned 30. Now I have cystic acne on my chin. They are very painful and you can't pop them because nothing happens. I got this bottle, and I was upset because half of it had leaked out and soaked the box. I contacted Amazon and they refunded me. I kept the bottle they sent and started using it. Since then, I bought a second bottle. As soon as I feel a pimple coming, I apply this treatment. It doesn't get as big and red and it seems to come to a head where I can then pop it. It heals quickly too. I saw some reviews that said it didn't really help them, but everyone's skin is different and to me, this was inexpensive enough to try. If it doesn't work, you're only out $9. But if it does help, it's something you can use often. I have very sensitive skin ( I'm allergic to band aids) and I have no issues with this treatment at all. And I like the smell. I would recommend giving this a try.

This acne spot treatment is a miracle worker! I was previously using a different 99.9% natural spot treatment and switched to this to see if I had better results - and boy did I! I have been struggling with mask-ne breakouts here and there. I had a small patch of about 5 spots on my cheek - my old product (which was double the price) didn't budge them, but the Burts Bees spot treatment knocked it out in a few days (noticeable results in about 2 days, for me. Gone after about 4). I applied once daily at night, before bed. **NOTE: It does sting a bit from the salicylic acid, like using an astringent but it sure does the work! Doesn't smell the best (in my opinion), it doesn't smell like chemicals or something toxic, but the "Willow Bark" used isn't my favorite smell

This works well on inflamed bumps. Didn’t see much change on the normal blackheads. It does dry out the skin. If you have dry skin keep that in mind and try to keep the are to just what you need. The smell isn’t bad but not good either. It smells like something that works which it does. I have very sensitive skin and allergies and this works where some other products burn my skin. I recommend trying it if you have sensitive skin and get a bit of acne once in a while. It’s great to have on hand.

I have oily/acne prone skin and I am always looking to cure my skin problems internally and externally. I've had this product for 6 months now and it seems to work about 30% of the time. I'm an almost 30 year old woman and we obviously have hormonal imbalances and suffer from monthly triggers that add to the problem. A few products have worked for me, this just isn't one of them. I am African-American, have red cheeks often, white heads, a constantly greasy face, sensitive skin and sometimes cystic acne. This product can sting at times, but can soothe at times as well. It dries very fast so you have to apply it before it dries. It doesn't smell good, kind of like grass mixed with lemon (not lemongrass). It also smells a bit like furniture polish mixed with an anti-fungal cream. It is not good. Overall, it works sometimes, and sometimes it doesn't. It is not meant for my skin type, so if you have my skin type you may not want to purchase this. It works for some people, but it's just ok to me.
