all hinges are not equal ..
These hinges were a savior on installing a custom door and ultimately lead to a happy customer. They were sturdy enough to install this 2ftX3ft attic access door (made of thin tongue and groove) with only two hinges. I would have liked to use three however the space and door limited me to 2. They are sturdy and have no play in them as of now. I’m happy, and they’re happy.

Works for a trap door. It opens just about 90°.It just doesn't stay up, like the old man said.

Need careful alignment attention
The mounting screw holes are locates too close together to get full support leverage for heavy loads. This is in necessary due to the inherit design. It could have been a better design allowing the holes to be spaced further apart. Also the holes are not slotted to allow minor adjustments for misalignment.

Buy if you have very low standards
Doesn't hold folding part flush or level. Droops down and no way to lock

Lots of play, and can't handle any weight.
Not too happy with these. In their own they feel great, with a strong snap into position. But if you add any weight or leverage at all, it just sorta hangs limply.
