Great for an in counter
After seven years of reliable service from our drawer microwave, we decided it was time for an upgrade. One feature that immediately caught our attention with the new model is the innovative design where the buttons extend out and face upwards, a significant improvement from our previous unit where they were located on the side. This not only enhances the aesthetic appeal but also offers added convenience in operation. We're excited to see how this upgrade will further enhance our kitchen experience. Very convenient to have in the island. Very fast shipment, and easy delivery.

Excellent drawer micowave
We have only had it for a couple of weeks but so far it has been a great purchase. As we get older it was difficult to use the Microwave due to its location in the center island. The drawer microwave was helped with this is a big way, I would recommend this product.

Love the drawer option
Installed in our new home. Love the style. First time with drawer microwave. Quiet and effective. Bit of a learning curve on settings. Haven't figured out how to silence the reminder beep that continues until you open it when time is up.

Fantastic. Easy to install
Fantastic. Easy to install, but know that you will most likely need to cut your cabinet. Note: if you're installing new cabinets, take note of where the microwave face will attach (2 screws on each side) to the cabinet and mark them. Why? If you are fastening a new cabinet on either side of the microwave cabinet, you don't want to put a screw in the way of the screw that mounts the microwave to the cabinet.I recommend reading the installation instructions before purchasing. You'll need an outlet in the back of the cabinet (duh), which may not be easy to install in existing cabinetry. You also need to fasten an "anti-tip" block in the upper right corner. Again, much easier to do with new cabinets than existing.I'd never go back to a counter top microwave nor an over the stove microwave. The "reheat" function works very well--leave the top off of the container, let the microwave sense the heat/moisture and cover the food for a minute after it's done cooking and you'll have nicely warmed food. In other words, follow the directions and it works.

Sold a broken microwave
This product did not work, right out of the box. We did not open it right after we received it because we were doing a kitchen renovation, and this microwave was going into a cabinet that needed to be built. By the time we were ready to install it, and we realized that it was making noise, but not heating up the food, it was past the 30-day return policy. As a result, this seller will not accept a return of the item. And Amazon, who I thought stood by its sellers, says that they also cannot accept a return - as it is outside of 30 days AND it is a third-party seller. So too bad for us. I reached out to Sharp and they also will not take a return. Their policy is to do a repair only. Finding a repair person is still something we have not accomplished, but that is another story. Long story short, we spent $1300 on a non-working product, and at best, we will have a "refurbished" product when/if it gets fixed. I would not buy a microwave from this seller, and I would not buy a Sharp product ever again. I know it is all "my fault" for not checking it within 30 days, but it is a very heavy product and it was not easy to remove it from the box just to plug it into a random outlet, while we were waiting for the kitchen remodel. I have never received an appliance that did not work, right out of the box, and I was naive enough to think that I would not be sold a piece of garbage. Avoid at all costs.

I love this microwave
I love this microwave. It looks great and functions just like a microwave should! And because I purchase items based on pictures I figured I should add my own. :)Side note: this is the 24" microwave. When I ordered my cabinets I ordered a 30" cabinet and a 15" cabinet (I didn't really pay attention to the sizes..) to make up my island. When the cabinets got here the cabinet installer asked why I ordered the smaller microwave. I told them I thought they were standard sizes and never even looked. They were going to custom fit the 24" microwave into the 30" cabinet (because it was going to be like $400 between paying shipping back and ordering the bigger size) but it turned out there was a defect in the cabinet and they had to send it back! Worked out to my benefit because they replaced it with two 24" cabinets that required no additional modifications for the microwave. Moral of the story: make sure you order the right one!

It Fits Into Cabinet of 7-Year-Old Replaced Unit
We remodeled our kitchen in 2015. The Sharp microwave starting to make a loud buzzing noise and wouldn't heat food. Called an appliance repair shop that Sharp recommended. It would have been a minimum of $500 to fix our old unit.I shopped around and was pleasantly surprised to find that Sharp made the same model replacement unit. Slid the old unit out, unplugged it, rinse and repeat with new unit. Even uses the same screw holes for mounting. If you are able to lift these units (not that heavy) you can easily replace it without paying installation fees.
