Eliminated mold and moldy odor
Screen porch had black mold spots on lower wooden walls. Simply spraying did not remove the mold, but after scrubbing the spots and musty smell were gone. The wood has a rough surface, which made the job a bit more laborious, but definitely worth the effort.

Works as advertised
May be too soon to really tell (a year or two would help), but I have a sheet rock ceiling in one part of my house that has has visible mold for several years. Roof is decade old metal over asphalt shingles and recently replaced all screws. Mold was painted over, but come back through. Testing by a professional verified the obvious mold was mold, but mainly (I guess) told me it was not spreading. the report recommended Concrobium. I sprayed all the visible spots, and sprayed again the next day, and could see the black mold looking gray. Painted with an oil-based paint, then with ceiling paint. I am pleased with the results abou a month later.Professional recommendation was to remove all sheetrock, evaluate situation,. and replace and refinish the ceiling. I chose to skip to just the Concrobium and refinish the ceiling. Time will tell!

Easy to Apply – Waiting on Results
Just applied the product and it was super easy to use — no strong odor and sprays evenly. I’m giving 4 stars for now since I’m still waiting to see how well it works on the mold. I’ll update this review once I can evaluate the long-term results. So far, so good!

A Fine Fungicide!
Kills Mold like a relentless Sherman Tank crew! Perfect for slime molds, velvety green/black molds, all molds in general. It also is a good pinch hitter when cleaning the tub too!

It isn't really clear that the formulation has any special chemical
Coming from the nutritional supplement world, I've learned to trust the ingredient label (in this case MSDS sheet) more than the marketing. When I received this product I found odd that it stated "Sodium Carbonate: 0.95%, Other ingredients 99.05%" on the front of the bottle. With the 99.05% accounting almost in its totality for the water, that leaves very little active ingredient. And to make matters worse, Sodium Carbonate is just 'Washing Soda', a cheap household chemical. I didn't really get where the special "mold crushing" ingredient was. After I checked the MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet) for more info, it only listed "Sodium Carbonate: <1%, Trisodium Phosphate (TSP): 1-5% (by weight)". Both are cheap household chemicals a large section of people already have. Washing soda is used for laundry, and TSP is a general purpose household detergent and degreaser. If that's all this product is composed of, it isn't special at all. With a box of each (under 20$), you could make hundreds of gallons of the same liquid. I even poured Concrobium Mold Control liquid out of the bottle and it's pretty much crystal clear and odorless, so it certainly isn't evident that it's saturated with some special mold-annihilating substance. In the end I decided to just make my own using a 16oz empty spray bottle, around 500 grams of distilled water, some 5 grams of baking soda, and some 20 grams of TSP. The resulting liquid looks pretty much identical. Out of curiosity (and because I had the tool at hand), I checked the specific gravity of each liquid with a refractometer. Both the 'Concrobium Mold Control' and the DIY mix had very similar specific gravity, and barely above that of distilled water. In other words you're pretty much buying water with this product.Personally, I think I won't ever buy this product again and I'll just use more heavy duty chemicals if the issue is needed or just mix my own for light cleaning.

It worked for us after a rancid flood and several carpet deodorizing just in case places
Odorless, my daughter & I purchased this because of our battle with moldy, mildewy smell. The direct effect of a toilet flood. We moved here to Michigan because the air is cleaner, people are polite and we've found the most perfect spacious home; with just so much scenry, beautiful water fowl, fishing I could go on but I won't.I'll just acknowledge that I've been blessed😇After the flood😷 sigh! We had the rugs deodorized twice. We diffused essential oil, dropped oil droplets into vents. We bought so many cleaning products-- Bleach, air freshers & plenty of home remedies from friends. Finally, my daughter took to one of her better qualities [besides being an excellent life coach, Super Hero daughter etc.] Researching! She found this product. We used it liberally. It warns "Do NOT use on fabrics." I did🙄🤨🤔even without testing. We were just at the end of all hope. Frustrated, irritated almost hopeless. We bought the mold & mildew spray not the "test your areas for mold & 9•5x's the test would prove yes at certain degrees. Yes, she and I lived in it! Test proven.🤔There weren't any crystals so, I gather no extremely dangerous mold & mildew. I continued to use this product not sure if it was working? However, it was working. For the first time in weeks we were able to breathe Inhale Exhale & all seemed back to normal. Just a clean ordinary scent however I kept spraying in crevices just to be sure. I also took it to the kitchen area treated the things I thought might pick up mold because of where we live.I found a pair of sandals in the bottom of a storage closet.Mold on important tax papers (which we immediately threw out certain our preparer had copies of a 6 or 7th yr package filled with paper.) The yellow leather sandals were covered in mold I didnt want to throw them away so I clean them and sprayed them until wet put them out on the porch a few days. They're fine now just kept in protective wrapping when stored. So yes. I did get my money's worth plus I'm going to buy another bottle. This bottle went a long long ways. I reccomend buying this product for diy clearing away mold & mildew.
