Unusually strong and great quality straws.

These Gusto paper straws come in a nice, reclosable box where the tabs fit into the front to hold it fairly securely. The company made a big deal about food safe ink. Between that and the box having a bit of the straws' color on the inside edge, I wondered if the ink would bleed into my kids' water since we keep cups on the table all day. I left a green-striped straw in a colorless glass filled with water longer than all night. Not only was there absolutely no ink bleed, but also the paper didn't even begin to unravel. The paper was just as tight as when I had put it in the water. These straws are a standard diameter for really liquidy beverages, not for milkshakes, smoothies, or thicker liquids. The cost averages to 4 cents per straw. This is half of what I was paying at a local big retailer. Happy kids, happy me, and happier environment using paper and not plastic!

These are not your old style paper straws. These hid up very well. I accidentally left one in a cup overnight and it was still in great shape. Very impressed with these straws.

Love these straws, they don't go soggy if left in the glass with the drink which I appreciate. I've been using them for years now.

These are the best paper straws we found. But they fall apart if you leave them too long in the fluid. There's no flavor to it. It is as durable as it can get for paper straws. They are cute and fun to use.

I’ve bought these straws multiple times, and they’re hands-down the best paper option I’ve found. Unlike others that disintegrate halfway through a drink, these hold up beautifully—I can actually enjoy my cocktail without rushing to finish before the straw gives out. What matters even more to me is their environmental impact. They’re a far better alternative to plastic, which I stopped using after seeing that heartbreaking video of marine biologist Christine Figgener removing a plastic straw from a sea turtle’s nose. That moment stuck with me. I truly believe that small choices—like switching to sustainable straws—can lead to meaningful change.

I bought these straws because I like straws but do not want to go through single use plastic. These are great, they will last through out a full days uses and multiple refills unlike a lot of degradable straws I have seen and used. These are great.

I bought two packets. But I'm feeling I did a mistake. Soaking in milkshakes within 30seconds. Poor quality.
