Pros: - Extremely effective. - The best dehumidifier available in the Indian market currently. - Transluscent 4L Tank takes a full night to fill in a medium sized room with high humidity. The machine autocuts once the tank is full. - Option to attach pipe to bypass tank. - Super customizable settings. - Option to add air purifying filter. - Can be app controlled and has wifi. - App is well made and smooth even though setting it up for the first time is okayish at best. - Looks good. - Makes breathing easier. - Prevents mold/ mildew/ wet wall odor. Cons: - Very Expensive when compared to other similar products. - A very niche use. Most people would be satisfied with getting moisture absorbers or silica gels every monsoon instead of a dedicated machine. - Air purifying filter not included. (Costs like 1500 for this model). The purifying is okayish and very basic. - Drainage Pipe not included and it is not clearly communicated on how to find a compatible one. The company themselves dont make one and they mention a pipe with 14mm inner diameter and that's it. After a lot of research I was able to find that the compatible pipe type is called a Drip Irrigation Pipe and is marketed as a 16mm outer diameter pvc pipe by local irrigation accessory companies. You have to make sure that the inner diameter is 14mm via descriptions. It is an irrigation system pipe which seems a bit odd to use indoors. On amazon, a typical 20m roll costs like 500 rupees. hope this helps anyone who was looking. - Clothes drying mode isn't very effective. Takes an entire night to dry a washing mashine's load worth. A dryer is a better investment.

22 Oct 2022 No frills dehumidifier. Room size: 10 x 13. My room had a relative humidity of 85% at nights. I got this dehumidifier and set it at a required humidity of 50%. Well, it does function as advertised and draws in large amounts of water. It could not get my room to 50%, i believe mostly due to leaks in the windows (yeah, you have to run this unit in a closed room) but i am happy to state that it always kept my room humidity less than 70% at nights (yeah.. 70% might sound not so good, but compared to 85% its a lot better). The water tank with a capacity of 4 litres fills up in about 8 hours. This unit emits warm air while functioning , which is pretty normal. It increases room temperature by 2 or 3 degrees. Its best advised to use this unit at nights along with an airconditioner. Do not set the desired humidity to less than 50% , its not advisable. Check online sources, too less humidity causes viruses in air to flourish, too much humidity causes dust mites to flourish. Online sources claim good humidity to be between 40% to 60%, but i would say do not go below 50%. Humidity in room occasionally touching 55% is apparently good as it automatically discharges static electricity at this level. Finally, this device works as advertised, i did not bother using their app as i did not find it necessary. Extended warranty support by onsitego was another reason for me to buy this device, no other dehumidifier in this range had their support. The build quality turned out to be better than how it looks in the pictures. The manufacturer pasted warning labels in various places asking customers not to use the device soon after delivery, so unbox the device and place it where you want to use it unplugged for a few hours after delivery. Edited: 2 Jan 2024 Device still working. Definitely exceeded my expectations. I am setting it at the least humidity level now as it anyway only reduces 10% from my room and keeps humidity at a comfortable level all night. The average humidity is around 70% in the room while not using this device. When i switch it on , along with AC, the room humidity is very stable around 50-60%. Definitely better than 70%. Don't expect this device to reduce 40 or 50% from existing levels., its not such a heavy duty device. But it gets the job done. I am looking forward to Powerpye producing dehumidifiers that look like split ac units. That would definitely be a good thing as this device occupies some floor space.

has helped me in dehumidfying my room which is about 160sqft. especially handy during monsoon as it prevented mould from forming on the walls and kept the internal parts of my computer from gathering moisture. could have been better if the hepa filter and the water pipe had been provided with the device. overall a good buy

I live in Visakhapatnam which is a coastal area with having high humidity levels for most of the time. When I recently moved from Mysore to vizag, i was only thinking about how to solve high humidity issue. not just for a room but for a whole house of a size 60*40ft. Most of the air conditioners in India are built to remove excess heat and they work pretty well and cost effective but they are not designed for coastal areas where humidity is the main issue. The cost of removing moisture thru air conditioner is going to be very expensive and waste of energy resources. So i want to address humidity issue thru a dehumidifier and purchased this item . Iam writing this review after one month usage This little box is a magic. It was able to extract 3-4 litres of water in 5hr running time when the humidity level is 80percent outside. That's a very decent removal of moisture and i can feel a significant drop in humility levels inside the house. But running the dehumidifier alone is increasing the air temperature by 1-2 C. So, air conditioner is a must to maintain the temperature . This unit operating at very low noise, i can hardly hear any. Has wheels, so can easily move in a room. This also comes with continuous draining. Energy consumption of this unit is pretty decent as mentioned by the manufacturer but I yet to measure. Overall i definitely recommend this product.

I am very happy with this purchase. I use it regularly, specially during monsoon, a great aid to dry clothes.
