Great Book! Very rigorous mathematically. Not recommended for those who don't enjoy proofs or abstract math.

This book would be a better reference for people who understand the material
This book would be a better reference for people who understand the material. As a text for someone learning DSP, it leaves a bit to be desired. It presents concepts one after another, instead of building a cohesive picture and explaining the ideas to the reader.

Equations un-readable in Kindle version
I recently purchased this text in Kindle format and the equations are much too small to read on a tablet device running the Kindle app. Scaling the text up does not change the equation sizes. This is completely unacceptable.OK - I am updating my review. I want to be fair to the authors - I read the first 2 chapters and this seems to be a great book. I returned my Kindle version and ordered the hard cover.

This is absolutely a great book! The approach is unique and beautiful
This is absolutely a great book! The approach is unique and beautiful. The book provides a new angle to tackle signal processing problems with the powerful tools of linear algebra. It also includes an appendix on basic linear algebra. After that the, book generalizes the tools for continues time systems and concludes with a very interesting chapter on the uncertainty principle of localizing in time-frequency.The authors' explanation and examples of different transforms based on inner products are priceless.
