For the money I think this is a great jacket. For 55
For the money I think this is a great jacket. For 55.00 or so, you cannot expect too much. The jacket looks really nice, has some nice pockets and at this price, I won't cry if it wears out sooner than I would like. I would rather spend a little more and get more quality but that isn't the case. As far as sizing, I got the grey and I am 6'1 and 245 pounds, I have a 46-48 inch chest and a 38 inch waist with some muscle. The jacket fit snug but not too tight. I would have problem layering it but in socal I really won't have to. If I lived in a colder climate, I would get an XXL. The front zipper is a little suspect and I expect problems to come from that at some point in the future. Again, at this price I got what I expected and it will be a nice range jacket, light rain jacket and it has a cool look.

Great jacket and a perfect fit
Let me start by saying I didn't get any discount and I'm not compensated in any way for my review. Those reviews are bogus. I bought my jacket like any other customer would. Great fit, very comfortable and fits perfect. I wear a large in all my other jackets so I ordered a large and it's perfect. There's Velcro spots to roll the hood up but I didn't like how it looks or feels rolled up so I leave it out. Only thing missing is an inside pocket but not a big deal to me. As far as the waterproof complaints, it's not a rubber rain coat so the thought of wearing this in a downpour and expecting not to get wet is ridiculous. It's water repellent. I've worn it in some heavy rain and stayed completely dry but I'm not wearing as a work jacket in the elements for 8 hours a day. For the price it's a great jacket. There are even zipper vents in the armpits should you decide to open them. I'd buy it again for sure.

Decent Performance
Overall quality of the jacket seems pretty good. The zippers worked great and the material, while not that waterproof, blocked the wind pretty good. Used it on a deep sea fishing trip and held up pretty good. When I went to go take it off I noticed that there was a tear at the bottom where the left side vent was stitched to the jacket. Had it not been for this issue I would have probably kept the jacket. I'm 69" and about 200 Lbs, in pretty fit shape and I went with the Large. The fit was pretty good, was actually a little big for me. It was a little tight in the shoulders and long so it would probably fit a taller person closer to 70-72" with not as broad of shoulders as I have. I probably would have ordered a medium if I were to do it over again. I recommend this as a pretty good wind breaker for cooler environments (nothing less than freezing unless you layer) but be aware the insulation on this jacket is pretty thin fleece material. If you are going to be using this in a wet environment, make sure you get some scotch-guard or other waterproofing agent to put on the jacket, will not come waterproof from the factory.

Warm, lightweight jacket
I ordered the Medium for my 5' 8" 150 lb husband. The medium is more than roomy for him, he could easily wear a thick hoodie under it and have room to spare. The sleeves are wider than we thought they would be based on the picture, they don't taper much as shown in the picture. Overall a good jacket, and it is warm. The hood also has a brim on it and my picky husband said that was a bit much but really not a big deal. The velcro patches threw me off and we don't have a use for them (no patches will be added or anything like that) but again, not a big deal.

This jacket is awesome. It looks good and feels soft and warm
This jacket is awesome. It looks good and feels soft and warm. It is a nice warmth for cool temperatures, but if it is really cold out I think you would still need another layer underneath. But for the price this jacket is great. I like the velcro patches on the upper-arms to add customized patches, and the many pockets around the jacket. I feel like the only real con to this jacket is that there are no hand pockets where jackets normally have them. The front pockets on this jacket are long zipper pockets from the chest to above the belly-button. It works alright, but I wish they included regular hand pockets on the waist area. That aside, this is still a great jacket and i recommend it.

Good jacket ruined by a goofy zipper mechanism
I don't score real high on manual dexterity tests, but it still shouldn't take me 10 attempts to zip my jacket up. It's a decent jacket, although I wish it had an inside pocket or two. I'm 6'1" and 190 pounds.. and the X-large fit perfect for both overall length and arm length. The fit was so good I considered keeping it, but the zipper killed it for me and I ended up sending it back.
