Was exactly what I needed to be able to use my Garmin in my other car. Great price and a real no brainer to hook up.

I might have a problem with my gps as wwhen I ordered this cord, because I missplaced the original cord, all it does now is tell me that it is Aquireing sataellites, but does not ever find them!! Could it be that the cord is not part of the antenna system, and I need the original cord plugged in too make the gps work? GARMIN NUVI 2689 LMT is the gps I am trying too use this cord on!!!!!! thank you

I purchased a Garmin GPS (used) from Amazon, and the charger that came with it was bad. Oh great, now I would have to return it... Actually, I looked on Amazon, and found this product for a reasonable price, so I decided to try it out. It works exactly like it is supposed to, which is awesome, and the only problem that I have had with it is that after a period of time (usually a couple of weeks) of being plugged in, it slowly slides out. Big deal, I just have to put it back in... In all 100% satisfied with this purchase and recommend it to anyone who needs a replacement charger for their Garmin. I thought my GPS was broken. This cord fixed my problem!

My fault for being cheap. Description says it would work for my Garmin. Don't waste your time. Only one barely works. I have to save some money for an OEM. My wife's safety is at stake here. Again my fault for being cheap and I cheated myself on the purchase.

Works Great., the one that came with my Garmin Several years ago., gets stuck, the tip that pushes in, goes in & sticks., then thecharger will not stay in the 12 volt plug. This one is doing a great service. I'm on the road several days a week, ferrying cars & relyon my Garmin Nuvi.

Charger works fine while plugged into the Garmin. One thing I found is that the unit can't be turned off when plugged in. Also though this cord seems to charge the Garmin, it can't be turned on until you plug it in. When you unplug it, it asks if you want to turn it off. If you say no, it will then stay on unplugged. The only thing I can surmise is that there a chip in the original cord and not this one.
