These are great to play cat’s cradle. The ones when I was a kid had some elastic in them and these don’t. But my kid doesn’t know any different and enjoyed learning cat’s cradle with them.

Fun but wish it was more stretchy like Chinese jump rope back in the day.

I bought this for my kids to play cat's cradle as it was advertised as such. I was looking for a continuous loop with a bit of stretch, which is what I thought this was. No, it is not. This is a string (or cord), with a bit of stretch to it, that you can tie in a knot if you wish. I kept it and tied the knot it it, but I could have bought this anywhere for probably much less. Oh, yes, there are two to a package.

The string was not continuous and you had to tie it creating a knot. Old school cats cradle string had a different give. This seemed like regular rope. Maybe it's been to long or maybe I'm just funny about authentic and the way something should be when it comes to being as original as a product should.

Good activity to take kids away from electronics and TV. My efforts were resisted at first but after I showed them and "urged" them to try, they spend time trying to out do each other. Not a total success but it brought back many fond memories for me.

This is not a cat's cradle string. It is simply a string. Waste of money - we had to melt the ends together to make a loop, and now it has a hard knot in it. I do not recommend purchasing this item, and wish I could get a refund, but didn't open them until I ran out of time.

I bought this for my cat. Chasing string is one of her favorite games. I tied a knot in both ends to prevent unrevealing or fraying. It's thick enough that she can't eat it, sturdy enough to withstand teeth and claws (for a while), and long enough to keep her from attacking my legs.
